That's not what the question asks. It merely asked for a British channel.

The channel launched on March 29, 1998[2], broadcasting comedy, drama and lifestyle programs from the BBC and other British television channels.
So if all it's programming is from British shows but airs in the US it isn't British?

It is on cable though so I guess I lose either way.

*edit - damn beat with both responses.

You lose in the "over-the-air" portion of the question.

I think BBC America would count for British, but definitely not for over-the-air.

It's an American channel for snooty NPR types who think that American shows are beneath them.

Yet, 90% of the content is reality programming that has been remade for American TV.

Which is fine but that's not the part of the question which garnered the mockery.

13th...not bad considering I was near the bottom for most of this.

Got to work on my sheep questions, but I seem to be very good at reverse sheep

Sort of. The question isn't just about Max Weinberg.

Us snooty NPR types obtain our British TV shows directly instead of waiting 3 years for BBC America to show reruns.

Only a couple weeks for Torchwood. Not that I'd know anything about that. I've never heard of NPR, and I'm certainly not drinking from a mug with the local affiliates call letters.

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2

Again, I think if host counts, then the band counts.

Are they part of the cast? that's what has to be decided. if one is, the other is

I'm convinced. I vote that Max Weinberg is a cast of Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Two seasons on the WB and one season in first-run syndication. Give that man his points! (Or his non-points, I guess)

If Ferguson counts, Weinberg and Shaffer should count, I think. They are more than just generic band members.

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2

yay - fifth. I haven't been able to check in until my lunchbreak. On the last question it isn't important at all whether the bandleader is a "cast member" Late night talk shows are not series. They are talk shows. There is series television, MOW's, talk shows, etc. Even from Dictionary.com:

se⋅ries [seer-eez] Show IPA noun, plural -ries, adjective
[snip]
5. Radio and Television. a. a daily or weekly program with the same cast and format and a continuing story, as a soap opera, situation comedy, or drama.

So those seem wrong on that fron to me more than any other.

On the single member versus multiple front the question does NOT preclude multiple members performing the song. If fact if that were the case then you would have to take a strict reading of the entire question and the song could ONLY be performed by that member of the cast in which case I believe everyone's answers are wrong.
