Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2
Is "first run syndicated show" somehow ambiguous? :hscratch:
|
Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2
Oh, it means shows like Baywatch, Hercules, etc.

I of course knew exactly what it meant because I am as smart as you. Maybe smarter. |

First off, what is "syndication"?
If you answered a show that aired on, say: http://www.paul-rand.com/assets/gall..._abc_large.jpg you are wrong. |

If you know the difference between a SHEEP and a REVERSE SHEEP question, especially when filling out a spreadsheet that is clearly labeled, then yes -- you are smarter than me.

Standing ovation to Red Dog for remembering Superboy.

First-run syndication refers to programming that is broadcast for the first time as a syndicated show (not any one particular network), or at least first so offered in a given country (programs originally created and broadcast outside of the United States, first presented on a network in their country of origin, have often been syndicated in the U.S. and in some other countries). Still, I think my answer of Acapulco Heat, VIP, Baywatch Nights, or Thunder in Paradise would've been better. Then again, I'm happy with my answer. |

Re: Do Televisions Dream of Electric Sheep- Round 2
I had no idea that was a syndicated show. Of course, when it aired, I was not old enough to know or care about the difference.
Please tell me Thunder in Paradise had multiple answers. |
