The only show I watch that is still in production is the Simpsons, so I guess I'll say Fox.

Discovery Channel, History Channel, National Geographic, and the Travel Channel. Some shows just to name a few. Mythbusters, Ice Road Truckers, Locked up Abroad, Bizarre Foods, and Fight Quest (I wish it would return). I also miss Deep Sea Detectives.

Percentage wise, USA wins no contest. I watch all of their original shows. Well, right now it's 100%, since they canceled The Starter Wife.

Burn Notice, Monk, Psych, In Plain Sight, Law and Order: CI, Monday Night RAW. I'll give Royal Pains a shot on Thursday.

those are all reality shows aren't they? not quite the same as scripted programming on the other stations.

What was the qualifications? Best stations with scripted programs?

I enjoy all of them except Ice Road Truckers. I detest that show and Ax Men.

i guess there are none, but most seemed to take ? as scripted original programs (which is what i intended as "reality tv" is just so schlocky and a dime a dozen), but with History, A&E, Discovery series' i guess more credible reality.

I earned my degree in history, so you'd think I would love The History Channel, right? Well, I would if I could ever tune in and not find a special on hunting Big Foot or UFO's! To paraphrase one of my favorite lines from Jurassic Park, "You do eventually plan to have history specials on your history channel, right?"

That's my vote for overall as well. Not so much for series, but great specials/docus...and nothing I can't watch with my children. For series alone, HBO has been the most consistently good over the years, though they have had some real stinkers as well.

Other: I don't watch tv. It is poison.

Quoted for truth man, every show they put on rocks. I'm excited for Royal Pains too..actually just saw a clip that looks pretty funny. The main character's brother looks hilarious

HBO was what I went with. They don't have the strongest lineup currently but over the years have given us classic series such as: Six Feet Under, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rome, Deadwood, The Wire, The Sopranos, and the list could go on and on.

USA is probably the best network currently in my opinion. They have many good original series such as Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, and Monday Night Raw occasionally. Their new show Royal Pains also looks like it could be good. They also run new episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent which is decent to watch every now and again. I think the only shows I haven't watched on the network are In Plain Sight and The Starter Wife.

History channel. Monster quest, UFO hunters, and Gangland off the top of my head.

CBS: The Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, Harpers Island.

NBC - The Office, Scrubbs
CBS - Cold Case, NCIS, Two and a Half Men, CSI LV, MIAMI, NY, Survivor, The Mentalist, Ghost Whisperer, Numbers, Criminal Minds, Flashpoint
ABC - America's Funniest Home Videos
FOX - The Simpsons, Fringe, Bones, House, 24, (was Prison Break), Nascar
CW - Chaotic on Saturday Morning

Just goes to show how one's man trash is another man's treasure; these are the very shows that have cost my interest in The History Channel.

No kidding. I used to watch the History Channel a lot - there almost was always something interesting on when I would scroll through the guide. Now I hardly ever watch it now.
