Twitter TV Show In The Works...

Well, they finally ran out of ideas. As if a Gutiar Hero TV series wasn't enough...

Variety reports that the San Francisco-based Twitter has partnered with Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment to develop an unscripted TV series described as "putting ordinary people on the trail of celebrities in a revolutionary competitive format."

The project was announced with few details Monday by Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment. The series concept was created by novelist/screenwriter Amy Ephron, who will executive produce with Kevin Foxe and Steve Latham, Reveille's Mark Koops and Howard T. Owens, Brillstein's Jon Liebman and Lee Kernis.

"We've found a compelling way to bring the immediacy of Twitter to life on TV," Liebman said.

Ashton Kutcher doesn't like the idea.

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone said there was "no official Twitter TV show" in the works, but "we have a lightweight, non-exclusive, agreement with the producers which helps them move forward more freely."

His wife, actress Demi Moore, also threatened to shut down her Twitter account, which has more than 1 million followers
Don't really care what the guy does but hey, if he can prevent a stupid idea from happening I'm all for it!
