As an aside, what's with Seth McFarlane's obsession with this show. He seems to mock it, and yet all the characters were on Family Guy playing themselves. Then Stan mentions the show on American Dad. Are they friends or something?

Was that scene in the hospital a clip from a previous episode? Robin was skinny and Lily was still covering up her belly in the second half of the episode.

Good episode. I liked the exchange between Robin and Barney in the hospital room

All the scenes with Alyson Hannigan in these past couple of episodes were shot before she went on maternity leave.

The Barney and Robin storyline was natural and well done. Of course Missy the Goat stole the show, though. That fight scene was great.

Still, my least favorite of the season finales so far.

For some reason, the whole jump thing with Marshall throughout the whole episode just cracked me up because it just seemed like such a guy thing to do. I can remember me or my friends being on the edge of doing stuff like this, and just not being able to pull the trigger. I laughed when Marshall said that Lily had put on a few pounds as well.

Good episode for the season finale. During the classroom shot, I was trying to see if anyone had a yellow umbrella.

I'm curious what they did after they were all on the other side. Their building was higher so they couldn't jump back. I guess hope the hot tub apartment owner was understanding and let them out without calling the cops?

Wondered the same thing. How did they get out?

I loved the goat fight, like when the goat tried to smother Ted with a pillow.

Hated the hospital scene with Barney & Robin, flipflopping back and forth. It got annoying within seconds.

I loved the "Murder Train" callback.

All in all, a satisfying finale, although no slap.

It would've been cool if Marshall had slapped Barney right out of the sky just as he made the leap.

I dunno, the episode felt a little lackluster.

The goat thing, to me, was built up too much... the payoff was good, but somehow I expected more.

Robin "mosbying" Barney multiple times just seemed off.

Ted admits that teaching is for people who don't make it in the architecture industry, yet agrees to do it because he fails yet again? I know he has an "in" for the job, but what qualifications does he have to teach?

yeah this one was pretty mediocre in my book as well not bad but just not up to what the show usually brings to the table.

Yeah, I was expecting something really funny from the goat. All it did was try to eat a rag and attack Ted.

I guess we still have an explanation for the pineapple to look forward to since the goat wasn't that great, right?

Unfortunately, Carter and Bays have said that they wrote themselves into a corner on the whereabouts of the pineapple because at the end of the episode Future Ted says "and we never found out where the pineapple came from but it was delicious."

So we probably have seen the last of the pineapple sadly.

As opposed to filming them when she was on maternity leave? She was obviously showing. They made every attempt possible to cover her middle section. She held the 31 sign half the show.
