2 hour show on NBC Sunday (tonight) 5/17 starting at 9:00pm EST. Looks to be the best of the best of the Digital Shorts. I know you can see most online already. Will tape and highly looking forward to the oldies and goodies.

I'm hoping it isn't exclusive to the digital shorts. I'd like to see John Belushi dancing on graves, Milton, and maybe even Bear City.

Mother Lover and Dick in a Box would have no problem in the 9 - 11 time zone. Jizz in my Pants may be an issue.

It is the best 'short' taped bits over the entire run, so I think the majority of it will actually be vintage stuff like you mention and only about 1/4 - 1/3 DIGITAL SHORTS.

I have now checked my recording to make sure Milton wasn't on while I was out of the room or something. 2 out of 3 aint' bad, I guess.
I wasn't all that happy with the selection. Only one of the two Star Wars auditions but three MacGrubers? Was the field they were selecting from anything that wasn't live and wasn't a commercial parody? I wouldn't have thought of a lot of what I saw as "shorts".

It was a good show, for the most part. I have to admit, I really liked the more modern shorts as opposed to the 70's/80's ones, except Eddie Murphy as a white man(that never fails to crack me up. "Just take it!") and Belushi as an old man visiting the cast members' graves(though it kinda made me sad at the same time).
Really missed Jizz in my Pants, Natalie's Rap, I'm on a Boat, and Doogie Howser though.
And Deep Thoughts never fails to make me crack up.
One more thing....The Dora the Explorer spoof is absolutely brilliant.
Hope this gets a DVD release soon.

I like the one with Andy Samberg and Jonah Hill.
That was hilarious, and since I don't usually watch SNL, I had never seen it.

Certainly too short. Way too many brilliant ones to include (one I kept hoping for was the one about the kids addicted to arcade video games. It's been a long time I saw it but I recall finding the kid touching the joy stick on the video game and being electoshocked to be particularly amusing) but one thing I was happy with was they showed the entire shorts the majority of the time. Only a few edited clips, thankfully.
And I agree...showing McGruber three times was too much. That time could have been spent showing a classic clip.
And I have to say Samberg made me feel old when he said he never saw the Rick Hall short before. Man, I saw that when it aired the first time.
