Am I the only one who thinks Anna was apprehended way too easily? And boy was I scared for Bobby just then!

Damn that fight was badass!
I cannot wait for next Thursday!
Why don't the writers of this show take over Smallville?

I dunno but it better be big. Maybe he'll get an Archangel or become one himself?
That said, I was surprsied the Angels offered no assistance during the fight given they are backing Dean and all. Unless this was all a test to see if Dean would go the distance even when outmatched. Which would explain why Castiel freed Sam.

Good build up.
I was hoping for an Adrianne Palicki cameo in Sam's hallucinations.
It will be interesting to see why Castiel let Sam out.

Kind of disappointed that there were no monsters this week, but Sam's psychological hell was quite interesting.

I thought this was a slow build...didn't really dig any of the scenes with Sam's hallucinations while he was locked up...but once he was out, this episode was fucking INTENSE - and the ending was something that was inevitable but still exciting/heartbreaking... next week is going to kick serious ass.

I hope so. You can't fight a good season-long apocolypse if you don't have a series end date. This has become (like Lost or BSG) a show that needs to be written for a specific ending in mind.

Kripke has always claimed he needed 5 seasons to tell the story and that would be it - all signs point to next season being the last - which I'm cool with, go out on their own terms.
