I agree. I have been a Law & Order fanatic for a long time. (I still remember making sure I had my homework done so I could watch new episodes in high school.) But last year I really came to love Criminal Intent more than the others. I have a good feeling about it on USA, the network seems to do a great job with original stuff. I can't wait for the new episodes. :)

^ Maybe on USA, Goren and Logan will have to do battle with the Burn Notice crew. :)

I thought SVU was the weakest of the three this past season. Though, that'll change with all of the changes to the main L&O. CI, however, at least for the Goren episodes, was great last season.

I think it's funny that, during Yankee games, MY9 runs promos talking about "going back to the beginning" and they only show that assclown Noth and make no mention of Goren. :rolleyes:

Anyways...i'm glad that it wasn't cancelled, but upset that it's on USA. Well, at least until USA gets a friggin' HD channel..

But new episodes are better than none. I am just thrilled it didn't get cut all together by NBC because I love it so much. Hopefully USA will go HD sooner than later. But for now it's a non issue as long as I get new episodes of L&O: CI.

been seeing a lot more promos lately. i am so excited. i love the one where goren says -- you cant move that, it's evidence!

I'm excited for it to start but wish it was put on Friday nights along with Monk and Psych. I don't watch Psych, But would enjoy Friday nights of CI and Monk and over to CBS for Numb3rs.

Just saw one where they're looking at the USA logo and Goren says "That's new."

yea, there are so many great ones. the detectives have such deadpan expressions and it works so well with these quirky promos. :)

That one's my favorite, but the one with Logan also cracks me up. When at the end, the movers have taken everything in the interrogation room and the goon he'd been grilling quizzically asks, "uh... can I go?"

And after the slightest pause, Logan dejectedly says, "get outta here."

I have always liked USA's promos. They are very creative, especially combining two show, like the promos they did for The Dead Zone when they had the two commercials, one with WWE Raw and the other with Psych.

Yeah, I agree about USA's promos. I just saw another one for L&O:CI. It wasn't a funny one. The upcoming season looks great.

First of all, what happened to Vincent D'Onofrio? He looks like he packed on a lot of pound in the off-season. Too many doughnuts?

I guess moving to cable is pretty depressing :lol:

One thing I thought about: D'Onofrio had some rather well-publicized emotional "issues." If memory serves, one side-effect of some anti-depressant medications is weight gain.

The case was pretty pedestrian, but it was great to see D'Onofrio and Erbe again. Shame they're not doing the entire season, but i'll take what I can get..

I thought the episode was OK (just watched it last night on the DVR). Also glad to see Goren/Eames back. Although after watching last season's marathon (I missed some episodes last season), Goren ended up with the possibility that the serial killer who was about to be executed could have been his father, is that correct? That never got resolved, did it?

Not that it matters to the show, but I was pleasantly surprised that they changed the theme music to the one they used for L&O Trial By Jury.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent returning this Sunday June 8th
 

Criminal Intent is back this Sunday, June 8th. I've been waiting a long time for my show to come back and there can be no better time for this to come out. I don't want to spoil it too much but the last episode was especially good; if you don't remember it was with Det. Goren and his trouble with the mental institute. What do you guys expect will happen to Goren and Eames or even with the return of Det. Wheeler?

I'm sorry, but the only detectives that work in my squad are Goren and Eames.

However, I will say that Alicia Witt didn't look that bad and I kinda liked the spunk she had in the promos that I saw.

I'm not that crazy about Goren and Eames anymore. For the first couple years, I was really intrigued by Goren. But his quirks have gotten annoying. I find myself enjoying the Logan episodes more.

I really liked Alicia Witt's character. I think she was my favorite Logan partner. Wasn't a big fan of Wheeler (my least favorite partner). Here's her pic:

Same here. I'm really not liking the whole 'Goren goes nuts' direction that the shows been taking. I really hope they resolve this, or just go ahead and bring in a new detective.

Sign me up for more Logan goodness though.

I'm disappointed Witt won't be back. The Logan/Falacci episodes were the only one I watched last season

They dumped Witt? Why? Management is doing something wrong to burn through three actresses in three years.
