That money question was about the level of a second or third grade question on Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. I really hope her family gave her crap for that for a long time afterwards.

But Gwen tonight should be ashamed of herself. Even I knew Tip O'Neill wasn't speaker of the house when Nixon resigned. Shoot.

What I hate is that these celebs don't even TRY to figure out the answer. I guess they usually have members of their entourage do all their thinking for them.

Damn. I would have had no clue. I didn't think Fresca was around in the 60s. It was big in the 70s.

I would have done well with his set of questions. I would have asked the audience though about the Betty White question - I have not seen many movies lately.

I had no idea on the LBJ one though. I would have walked.

That last guy's nickname is now "FRESCA". :)

I would have had some lifelines left because I would not have needed to use them on the Grace Kelly question or the 'Gremlins' question. I ruled out V8 and A&W right out of the gate, so I could have used the double-dip and won.

But in his case, not knowing at all, he should have taken that money. A $475K lesson, and endless goofing from his friends - 'Hey buddy, want a cool drink? How about a Fresca?!'

(Do they still make Fresca...?)

I was guessing it either had to be Yoo-Hoo or A&W. If I had the double-dip, I probably would have taken it and I would have lost. I was rooting for him until he got too smug, so I enjoyed the look on his face when he found out he was wrong. He looked like he wanted a do-over or a consolation prize.

They still make Fresca...Fresca+Tequila=muy saborosa!
