It's only a matter of time before CSI Miami gets more viewers than this. :)

But seriously, fun episode indeed.

I think the days of shows being in the 20M viewer range might be over. Also, you really can't expect a show in it's 9th season to maintain those levels of viewership consistently. 15M viewers is still damn good.

ok, so I'm drunk, but as soon as I realized Brass's name is Jim I saw it coming and then Hodges said he's dead Jim I busted out laughing

Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Lots of fun, reminded me of the show where they play the "CSI Murder Game".

All CSI cannot be like murder and bloodshed.

I don't have a screenshot, but she was in there... as was Kate Vernon (Ellen Tigh).

Exactly. CSI has always had a couple of comedy-centric shows every season to keep things from getting too dreary.

Since Petersen's departure, the show has been more team-focused. This episode used everybody and I liked that.

Plus, the lab rats always get at least one episode every year. This was their ep. I enjoyed it--campy but not overly silly.

It seems to me though that since Grissom left, the episodes have only varied from light to frivolous or silly. I expected Fishburne to match Peterson's gravity, but the focus on the rest of the team has diluted the seriousness of the show.

What? How about that episode where that kid dies? And that one with the hostage situation?

It sounds like he hasn't been watching much and is making an assumption. I agree the episode with Taylor Swift as a guest and when Langston and Riley were held hostage were pretty damn serious episodes.

34 posts and no screen grabs of Liz? This thread is full of Fail.

I'm not a Trek fan and have only seen season 1 of BSG, so all these references are over my head. Decent episode though, I always enjoy when the lab rats get to shine.

The article was dated July 15th when this season just barely began production.

That was prior to Lauren Lee Smith(Riley) being cast. I think she ended up getting the 'field' spot that was intended for Vassey.

Speaking of Lauren Lee Smith, I'm surprised no one has ever mentioned what her pre-CSI career was like. To call it NSFW would be a massive understatement!

Yeah, Lauren's not a shy girl, especially in "Lie With Me"...

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit, but I generally like the sillier, Lab Rat-focused episodes.

i'm not getting the hate for this either. I enjoyed it. I like the occasional light-hearted lab-rat episodes. Good change of pace for an often dreary show.

And I 1000% disagree with the comments above on how this show has regressed since Petersen left. I think the show is still doing well creatively and keeping things fresh each week.

Agree, I liked Petersen but I don't miss his mopey ass one bit.

I'm with you guys. I loved Grissom, but the final dozen or so episodes he was on he was just a fucking drag.
