CSI -- "The Descent of Man" -- 4/9/09
I just the loved the ending on this one, with the reporting trying to explain the incredibly complicated murder plot. Then the guy from Ally McBeal was funny as the religious whackjob.
And Charisma Carpenter! A little more Angel nostalgia after watching Bones.
On the whole, however, the story just didn't hold together. Less than the sum of its parts.

Did anyone notice the desert scene was the same one as in NCIS a few weeks back? I think the NCIS episode was when Tony and Gibbs were riding horseback trying to find some woman that lived out there and Gibbs managed to snipe someone out of a helicopter.
Edit: I mean, Set, not scene

In reading about the episode I was expecting her to be one of those lingerie-wearing, rich stuck-up sleazy types shown so often on this show, given her character's name was Mink and all the descriptions and to my pleasant surprise that wasn't the case at all. Sort of been there, done that on "Veronica Mars" and I thought it would have been typecasting.
