Twenty Four (24) -- "10:00pm to 11:00pm" -- 3/23/09

Synopsis for tonight:

Spoiler:

The FBI ramps up its search for Jack when he's blamed for Sen. Mayer's death. Meanwhile, Jack and Tony hunt for a bioweapon at a shipyard, and Olivia Taylor's ambitious political decisions prompt calls for changes in her mother's administration.

Minor nit/pick regarding the last episode heading into tonight's. Quinn murders Senator Mayer and everyone thinks Jack is a cold blooded killer. Jack kills Quinn and then takes off to find Tony/the weapons. Jack could save himself alot of grief by calling Larry and telling him the location of Quinn's body with the weapon next to him. The GSR on Quinn's hands and the bullets pulled from Mayer's body would automatically exonerate Jack.

Other than that, really looking forward to this episode.

Just another thing to add. We're now on episode 15 with 9 more to go. IMO, I think season 7 can be officially labeled a huge success ratings-wise and creatively. What do you all think? Has this been must-see TV for you every Monday?

I have watched it every Monday. The only think I haven't liked is the whole torture debate this season. I already have it preordered on bluray.

IMO, it's just okay, not the best of 24. Does it improved from Day 6? Not really.

Not as strong as S5, but a huge improvement over S6. Must-see for me on Monday's? Yes.

 Agree with this 1000%

For me I think it officially falls:

Day 1
Day 5
Day 7
Day 2
Day 3

Day 4

Day 6

I think it's VERY good. On one hand, anything would have been better than S6, but in my opinion it isn't just better than S6 (which would be like saying vomit tastes better than poop) it's actually quite good.

Maybe next episode will give a 'inside Jack' scene where his immune system tortures the bioweapon germs for the antidote & then kills them off.

Holy crap did Jack just make a joke?

Did a redshirt actually survive a brush with Jack Bauer?

Can Jon Voight chew any more scenery?

Oh!

No!

Jack!

Please tell me he's gonna be okay!
What would this country do without Jack?

I loved the words between Jack and Tony before the firefight. Something like:

"Jack! This is insane! It would be two against ten!"
"It would be two against nine."

The leak seemed like liquid nitrogen (the canister looked frosted) so probably it was some kind of refrigeration contraption the one that was leaking and not the biohazard stuff itelf.

Redshirt? Pfft. You can't kill Trip Tucker.

Trip survives another day! Pretty stupid of Jack to pull over when he's being chased. Who cares if the bio weapon is leaking. Find the closest body of water and drive that bitch up in there!
