NBC is pulling cooking competition series "Chopping Block" from primetime after three weeks on the air, sources said.
The network informed affiliates Thursday night that the reality series starring renowned chef Marco Pierre White will be off Wednesday nights as of next week.
"Block" will be replaced with repeats of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." The "CI" episodes are repeats of episodes that have previously aired on NBC; the episodes that previously only aired on USA Network will still make their broadcast debut on NBC starting April 29 as originally announced.

in case anyone cares i guess new episodes will be put up on nbc.com every wed. so you will get see who actually wins.
so is the first reality show to be canceled before it finished? i cant think of any others.

There have been quite a few reality shows that have been canceled before their run was done. CBS had that celebrity cop show, which was canned and later surfaced on VH1 for the burnoff. FOX had their boxing show which they burned off on Fox Sports Net. FOX had Anchorwoman, which aired once before being canned...not sure if that one got burned off or not.
There have been others, these are just the ones off the top of my head.

i guess im just pretty choosy on what reality shows ive watched. looks like im doing good since ive never heard of any of those mentioned above.
