Damnit! ABC Has no signal in Phoenix. I've checked like 3 different tvs. One's on a cable box, the other is my OTA HD Antenna. Nothing.

No, we only see the people who flashed off the plane in Dharma time. The plane crash and surviviors are on the Hydra island, and havn't been shown in the past yet.

Juliet, Sayid, Jin, Sawyer, Hurley, Jack, and Kate are in 1974.

Locke is in 2008.

From 1971-1974, Jack, Hurley, Sayid, and Kate were in 2005-2008.

(Guessing on the 2000s here).

Goodspeed is the one who eventually dies in the van.

This is correct. Though we havn't seen Sayid or Sun yet. They can be in Dharma time or present time(2008).

So then what the fuck is the big importance of bringing them all back? Plus, how is it that they're going to explain Locke's resurrection? Will it be the Losties and Dharma of the past fighting against the rest of the group and Locke with Alpert and gang in the present? How can you have two different groups of people co-existing in one place at two seperate times? Unless they show all of the craziness that occurs when you inject Hurley, Jack and Kate in Dharma while Sayid and Sun work with Locke and his gang. It still doesn't make sense how two periods of time could interact with each other though.

What a wonderfully written and well-acted episode. One of my top 5 of all time!
Interesting that Daniel was never seen in the 1974 scenes.

There are two stories going on throughout two timelines.

Past - "Everything that happened, happened." The Dharma timeline. They are showing us everything that happened before Ben wiped them out.

Present - 316 crash / Others in control of island v.s. Widmore

My guess is that Jack and the other 06 members will find a way back to present time before Ben purges Dharma.

I think he means that Dan wasn't shown during any of the "three years later" scenes, meaning maybe something happened to him. The orchid visit could have happened anywhere during the 3 years.

We don't know when that is. At that point they are building something. We don't know if that was in 1974, in the 60s, etc.

Or Dharma, led by a strong minded Sawyer with knowledge of Ben's intentions, will wage war alongside the rest of his Dharma cohorts against Ben and those on his side.
