That would be my guess. I was waiting for Desmond to be on the plane to be at him again.

Frank's expression was great.

I hope he got his ass beat and Penny is ok. If Penny was killed then it ruined a lot of what this show means. Her and Desmond's story was one of the biggest parts of this series for me and for Ben to ruin it would be bullshit.

What a great episode!

Good to see Lapidus.

So Sayid must have been pinned for the murders, hence Hurley's release and the fed on the plane.

Great episode. So sad that when it was getting good there were only 10 minutes left. :(

Why would the Feds let a murder suspect take a plane trip to Guam?

I'm not so sure that there was an actual crash. I guess we will find out soon enough.

No idea but his hands were covered by the jacket the same way Kate's were during the first season.

That is probably one of the biggest question marks of the whole series. It just doesn't make any sense at all under any circumstance. Kind of silly if you ask me. Seems like the writers needed to find a way to have one of the Losties in custody while on the plane and this was the best they could do.

Thanks for spoiling that for me.

So, why was Ben all beat up?

How did Sayid and Hugo end up on the plane?

What did Kate do with the kid that's so bad we can't even ask?

I don't know, but recreating the first flight, I guess Sayid was Kate this time around ;)

edit: bah, beaten

I'm guessing Hugo got a visit from Charlie. Notice he had a guitar with him.

Or become Jacob himself. Some of the Jacob shots looked like Locke.

Re: Lost -- "316" -- 2/18/09

Ben must have had some interaction with Desmond/Penny, or Widmore's people while trying to kill Penny.

I have to think Hurley was told to go via Charlie, hence the guitar and his unwillingness to discuss why he was there.

Re: Lost -- "316" -- 2/18/09

One of the weakest, if not the weakest episode this season so far. Still, it'll be interesting to see how the new mysteries play out, "when" the Oceanic 5+Ben+Lapidus are, and if that was the curtain call for Desmond on the series.

Was that really a guitar case?!? Next to Hurley, I swear I thought it was a violin!

Cool episode.

What the hell happened to Aaron?

I think she went back to Claire's Mom, explained everything and left Aaron there.

Or rather that's what I hope happened.

I liked this ep.

A lot must have happened to get Sayid, Hurley, and Kate on that flight. Ben was busy with the Penny thing so it probably wasn't him. Maybe Widmore's people had something to do with Aaron.

So who's back in the 60's? Is it just Jack, Hurley, and Kate? Or everyone?

I am rather disappointed Walt never figured into any of this. So much for his magic powers and how special he is to the island.

CharlieK 02-18-09 09:26 PM

Re: Lost -- "316" -- 2/18/09

I forget where the last episode ended, but I'd say that the people who stayed on the island flashed back to the Dharma's heyday, hence why we saw Faraday in a uniform and now Jin. Then Locke fixed the wheel, and they stopped flashing.

And now the off-island folks have landed in that timeframe as well. How, I do not know.

Re: Lost -- "316" -- 2/18/09

ok 2 questions....
1- didnt anyone think to ask Ben how he got all beat up. Him and jack sat in the plane and had an entire conversation with Ben's face all bruised up and his arm in a sling and Jack didnt think to ask what happened?
2-what was the point of reinacting the original plane crash to return to the island if the window was already open to get therre?

I think she was one of his handlers when he was undercover with that terrorist sleeper cell.

Re: Lost -- "316" -- 2/18/09

So what is the significance of Jack ending up at the same spot in the jungle as before? I always found it odd that he ended up so far from everybody else in the original crash.

Assuming the last thing Sawyer said to Kate on the helicopter had to do with his daughter and her mother; do you think Kate left Aaron with her and is just heartbroken about leaving someone who was essentially her son?
