I have never watched a single episode of Chuck, but I have the glasses so I might as well watch this one. I will probably be completely lost in terms of the characters and plot.

Right the bottom/tops where they connect is not perforated. The colored lenses were applied as strips so they need to be cut with scissors.

My wife got me a sheet at Target tonight so I'll watch this on the Tivo tomorrow. She had to ask for them at the customer service desk by the way.

Neither did I so i have no idea what the show looked like with 3D glasses. I do know it looked like absolute shit without them.

It worked OK in some parts, was more of an annoyance in others. The brighter scenes like in the Buy More looked good, but the dark night and bar scenes were hard to see.

Also loved the Star Wars reference.

Re: Chuck -- "Chuck Versus the 3rd Dimension" -- 3D episode -- 2/2/09

I enjoyed this quite a bit. I was having problems at first, but once I turned off the lights, it was much easier to see the 3D effects. I even went back and watched the Super Bowl 3D spots and was able to enjoy them more than when I had previously watched.

It wasn't perfect, but it was a lot of fun. Happy when it ended, though. Wearing those glasses makes my head feel all scrambled after a while.

the best shots that worked in 3D were the crowd surfing scenes and the sub sandwich scene where the camera was in "between" the sandwich, the little time clicker for the bomb also worked as well.

Re: Chuck -- "Chuck Versus the 3rd Dimension" -- 3D episode -- 2/2/09

The episode was fun, but it was a real struggle watching this with the 3-D glasses. I wear glasses and had to put these 3-D glasses over my own otherwise the picture would have been blurry as hell. I just couldn't seem to get them in the right position.

Some scenes worked and some didn't. I really didn't get a sense of extra depth perception on alot of scenes. The part where the hot chick threw the knife at the screen did not work for me. I wish I could have used the glasses I got from My Bloody Valentine. Those were much more comfy and I really enjoyed the 3-D alot more.

Back to the episode. Dominic Monoghan was a great guest star. The role seemed somewhat similar to his Charlie character from Lost but a little more over the top. The Gold ticket contest was pretty damn funny. I chucked when Lester got his panties pulled off.

Great to have Chuck back.

Anyone know if they're going to do a repeat without the crappy 3-D effect? Watched about 3-4 minutes and turned it off. It looked horrible without the glasses.

It's going to be posted online Tuesday on NBC.com and Hulu in 3-D and 2-D.

So far I can only find the 3-D version on Hulu, which sucks, because I couldn't find glasses anywhere.

I had the same problems.

I noticed quite a bit - particularly during the brighter scenes, but was annoyed by the muted colors due to the glasses.

So I have no glasses but recorded it. Is it watchable without them or am I better off going to Hulu?

I wear glasses as well and had no problems with these. In fact, these worked out better for me, though I prefer the more clear nature of the My Bloody Valentine glasses. I actually found that it was easier to put the 3D glasses on first and put my regular glasses over them. Worked like a charm (for my friend as well)!

My family thinks I'm the biggest nerd in the world because I knew what the IG-88 reference was.

But after Yvonne's hot open, the episode was just OK for me. Not one of the best. The guest star rocker was just annoying to me.

Re: Chuck -- "Chuck Versus the 3rd Dimension" -- 3D episode -- 2/2/09

I thought I had some 3D glasses inside my copy of Spy Kids 3D, so last night I went to bust them out to watch this...and they were gone - I think someone borrowed that DVD and kept the damn glasses (when I wasn't home/without my approval)...so I'm kind of pissed - I'll have to find some glasses elsewhere (in Canada we didn't get the 3D superbowl ad so there aren't glasses readily available...) Watched the opening without glasses (brutal) but decided to PVR it and wait until I can find some...
