Yeah I read that article. Kiefer is contracted for 1 more season and he and the Producers aren't sure if it's going to be the last one or not. Also, they are still talking about developing the feature film as well.

When/How did Jack notify Buchanan and Chloe where Renee was buried?
Samantha.

Wouldn't that guy who tried to double-cross Tony wonder why Tony let bygones be bygones, and let him go? Seems suspiciously magnanimous to me.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Season 7 -- "1:00pm to 2:00pm" -- 1/26/09
What was the point of showing a Porsche and two motorcycles in the aircraft hanger, and they were never used? I thought that Jack and Tony would go all "Easy Rider" on us for a minute.
I feel the seeds of another "meh" season growing. The CIC/America held hostage thing will probably not be the main plot as the season goes on. I'll see how it goes, though. And Jack is way off on his usual body count. Anybody keeping tabs on this?

I wish they would have cast someone better as SS Agent Brian Gedge....
Warren Kole looks like a Backstreet Boy reject, doesn't look threatening at all....
It was a decent character too bad they ruined it for me with bad casting....

they said Tony called them, although I have no idea how or when.
I see Brannon Braga's name in the credits as the writer and I
Then I see Manny Coto next to him and I'm
So it's like the good cancels out the suck. Next week's preview looks awesome!

Maybe I'm misremembering, but didn't they establish earlier that Tony was wearing some sort of transmitter (I'm assuming something similar to the tooth one that Jack gave out in this episode), and Chloe and Buchanan were listening the entire time? I assumed that's how they found out.

Only thing I can figure is that they (Bill/Chole) were listening via Tony's transmission/concealed contact device they gave him and from the information they heard were able to deduce the location.
To me, the airplane crash looked like a busted satellite falling from the sky. Though I can only blame the president for the poor explosion since she looked out the window too late.

So my theory about Robocop originally intending to recruit Tony (before Jack killed him) was correct!

I wasn't invested in her character at all but I was surprised she didn't get a last minute reprieve from the mini-stabathon.

"Let's put that behind us." was the line of the night.
This week's medical tip : If you are trying to resuscitate someone who has recently expired, epinephrine (adrenaline) can help. But not if you just shoot it into someone's chest. CPR is usually done at the same time. Maybe Bill was afraid to get his mouth dirty?

I get a kick out of the speed, or lack of, that things happen in this show. In the premier, the programmer guy goes from being kidnapped to having the device reprogrammed, and used to create the near miss, in < 7 minutes. The terrorists expect the US to send a withdraw order to their troops, and have it happen, in approximately 3.27 minutes after making the demand. Yet it apparently takes the FAA hours! to ground planes, when 9/11 showed that they could get it done a lot faster... at least that was my impression. Still, I try not to let it hurt my enjoyment of the show.

Another very good episode. It was fun and I was entertained the entire hour. Yes, Tony and Jack were wearing a transmitter that enabled Bill and Chloe to listen and monitor all their actions.
I did think it was a little funny how Bill and Chloe's Mystery Machine creeped in and managed to dig up Renee within 2 minutes of her being buried alive. The real-time aspect of this show hasn't worked since season 1, so it's easy to overlook that.
It sucked to see Carly Pope's bite the dust. I don't think her character served much long term purpose, so it didn't surprise me that they killed her off. That stabathon was really creepy.
The 1st Husband was very lucky. I did think that fall wasn't high enough to kill the secret service agent, unless he broke his neck as well.
I like the story telling thus far. It's little pieces coming together with each episode. It seems to me that they have really given some thought into writing these episodes.
In past seasons, 24 always seemed to suffer from weak B and C plots. However, I think President Taylor's B plot and the 1st Husband's C Plot have actually been good and work with the overall scheme of this season.
Next week's episode looks badass. Glad to see Bill, Jack and Tony get into some serious action.

another great episode. Renee was starting to piss me off with her trust of the FBI
is everyone convinced that Tony really is a good guy ? They promoted Tony as the big bad for this season so much for him to turn face so early on seems a bit not right
i actually missed more Billy walsh in this ep

When they were talking about how Tony got out of CTU, it sounded like they were referring to Christopher Henderson as Christopher Anderson. Did anyone else notice this? I sure as hell hope my ears and close captioning were just deceiving me, because that's a pretty big error.

What I dont get is how Christopher Henderson new that Tony would try to kill him by injecting him with a needle that would in turn be able for him to steal and miss the vein by just THAT much. And also knowing ahead of time so Emerson could take him. A bit of a stretch...
