I wish Lana would just go into a coma and stay there since they aren't willing to kill her off.

I wouldn't call this episode a total stinker. There were some good moments, especially the chick fight between Tess and Lana. But, I agree it was filler.
Even though I still like Lana, I am disappointed that they teased us with a possible Lois and Clark connection and then BOOM! Lana shows up and it comes to a screeching halt. I was actually warming up to the chemistry that Durance and Welling were developing.
I know probably most of you don't watch it, but the blonde cop is actually a series regular on Flashpoint on CBS.

I didn't think it was that bad. I enjoyed the Turpin reference, so that was nice.
Also, I found it interesting how Clark actually found himself in the ______ (Ollie, Pa Kent, Lana, etc.) role where he was actually the one having to tell Dan (aka Clark) about the greater good and what difference one person can make. Me thinks the man is learning.
Then again we get that ending. I was fully expecting Lana to show up, but I assume she'll come into it again soon enough.
