Realistically I think Daisies has the best chance of getting a DVD release.
As far as a TV airing goes, I doubt you will be seeing Dirty Sexy Money and Eli hit air. I read that Steve McPherson, ABC's Prez, said they didn't have enough time to produce a satisfying conclusion to both shows. |

ABC could air these episodes easily. All tehy ahve to do is take a couple of saturdays which are dead nights anyway, and air them. Problem solved. I really do not understand why they would pay all this money to make an episode, only to have it never air. Seems silly to me.

IIRC, Eli and DSM has a proper ending at the run of S2 13 episodes - PD was scrambling at the last minute to give viewers a proper ending and it took a few weeks for them to do so (It was an Olive episode and the retooled it a bit a few weeks after ABC canned it).

I'm really waiting to see the time when TV production companies start trying to write up contracts that say:
"TV network agrees to show entire season of said show to completion no matter what ratings are, in order to provide some closure to any people that are actually watching" I know it's a pipe dream, especially when networks can pump out horrible cheap reality shows that can make twice the money with half the ratings, but still... -jason |

I just want to see the end of DSM. I don't care if it is satisfying or sensible. I just want to see where they went with it.

I had read that ABC is under contract to show all episodes but there is no stipulation as to....When.

I seem to recall some stories that Aaron Sorkin did make that demand with Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and I imagine NBC isn't in a big rush to make that guarantee to any more shows. |

Of course if I'm remembering right, it took someone with some decent clout to secure such an agreement. There's not a chance in hell for a no name show from new people in the biz to get such a deal. |

My guess is that the contracts contain that clause as it is now. I imagine the issue is that the penalty is essentially nothing.

Question: Is there any news on anything Pushing Daisies related? -- Eric Ausiello: Yes, there are three new developments -- and, believe it or not, all of them are positive! 1) I'm told Warner Bros. will definitely be releasing a season 2 DVD. 2) After undergoing a major post production tweaking, the series finale is now a loose-end-tying-up extravaganza. 3) And the inimitable Ellen Greene is in talks with Heroes to return as Sylar's mom during May sweeps. |

I freakin HATE those so called "reality (whatever) shows"... DSM is awesome and has a stellar cast with great story lines, not to mention things happening that I didn't see coming. I certainly didn't see the show ending. That blows. |
