I thought it was an excellent stand-alone episode, though I was hoping to see what, if anything, they were going to do with Carlito and that gal.
I wonder if they're going to "string out" the Bob/drugs angle. Him shooting that guy--whoa.

I hope they don't drag out the "Bob secretly on dope" storyline. I really don't care for arcs like that. Just my opinion.
And as much as I hate to admit it given the premise of this show, I do enjoy seeing Bridget all dolled up.

For some odd reason this was the 1st episode I didn't enjoy. Maybe it was the fact the the interrogation would NEVER go that way. While the Unit has some leniency of how they operate, the Department of Defense would have taken that case over once he was in custody. And then saying "we'll have to let him go if he doesn't talk soon" was super-lame. He is a suspected terrorist, they can hold him forever. And even if they forgot he was a terrorist and they just arrested him on kidnapping, attempted murder, false imprisonment and two more murder-counts, they had enough on him to keep him in jail and revoke bail easily.
As for the card game plot... Sorta felt like a low-budget Bond film. Wouldn't the CIA have operatives to do that sorta work since it is what they actually train for. I know "Special Ops" has a wide birth of duties, but this was non-combat work. It felt WWAAAAYY outside what they train for.

Solid episode and the drug angle is interesting but like everyone else, they better not drag it out. Bob needs to drop the habit Jack Bauer style.
More than anything, how could they totally drop the cliffhanger with Carlito? That's all I wanted to see this episode.

i hate, hate, hate, hate how most mainstream TV and movies portray poker. ridiculous. first of all, if some fucktard is playing 62os that's not named Gus Hansen in those kinds of stakes, it's completely and utterly unrealistic.
