I have a friend who likes these commercials. I hate them- I've heard them way too many times.

The sham-wow or whatever the hell it's called? He freaks me out. Who the hell is he? He's presented like we're supposed to know who is--like he has some sort of towel authority.

Agreed. Flo and her "tricked out name tag" is worse than either of those two.

Maybe I'm just up later than you guys, but I'd gladly take Billy Mays, Flo, Sham-WOW guy, and FreeCreditReport.com guy over Klee Irwin, the trailer trash version of John Waters.

I may have fallen asleep on the couch and briefly woken up to this. The whole thing about the amazement at the size of his daughter's stool rings a bell.

Does Sham-wow really work? The commercial makes it look awesome. Even though the guy is creepy, I kinda want one.

"And it cleans up the blood, without using any pressure! Are you following me camera guy? Oh wait you're not, 'cause I killed you."

Watch the carpet and the puddle carefully; he pours the soda and there's a puddle on the table, but when he's about to put the shamwow down, it's gone.

What I like to watch are commercials like the ear listener device, where the actors are obviously delaying their reaction to a director/camera even though they are supposed to be watching a game, their kids, the priest, or the next squirrel they are going to eat.

They got a new one. Listen Up now looks like a bluetooth headset. I love how everyone is basically eavesdropping on other people's conversation.

"Did you see that new guy at the gym? He's hot!"

LOL, yeah that's basically all it's used for.

What's also hilarious is that the same lady who annoyingly yells "DOES THAT HAVE TO BE SO LOUD!" in the first ad ends up needing that new bluetooth headset in the second ad.

I can only assume she divorced her nearly-deaf husband and sought punitive damages but at least she got the second headset for free.

The Sham-wow commercial always bugs me, because of this line:

It's from Germany, you know the Germans always make good stuff"

I thought I was the only one, he bugs the shit out of me. That smug look is just annoying.

The Sham-Wow guy sued Anna Nicole Smith, the Farrelley brothers, and the Church of Scientology because he thought they all had done something to sabotage his film. After reading that article posted on page 1 of this thread about him, he seems like an even bigger douche than his picture here makes him out to be.

And if she wasn't wearing more make-up than Caesar Romero's Joker and didn't have 3 inch long false eyelashes.
