You know what I'd love this show to do? Be willing to kill off Claire. Not that I dislike her or anything, but just to have the balls to do it.

Claire still has to do something important so that future Hiro will have a reason to go back in time to tell first season Hiro "save the cheerleader, save the world." So far she hasn't lived up to that tag line.

Nah... sure she is dispensable but we're already running low on female characters. Kill off someone else.

Nahh, I like her cleavage. Kill of Ali Carters character.

No, it was so that Sylar wouldn't get her powers and be invincible... oh wait, that happened anyway.

So what happened in the alternate future, where Nathan tells everyone that people have powers? The "normal" people don't go out on a witch hunt and get them while they're powerless during the eclipse?

My vote is to kill off Mohinder.

I'll second that motion. Also add the Maya chick to the ballot. It would be nice to see the writers have the balls to kill a major character permanently. Doubt we see it though.

I want to see future badass Hiro speaking without a Japanese accent. Do they even remember doing that scene anymore?

They've actually gotten rid of a bunch of the villains:
Linderman looks to be gone for good, though he gets flashbacks and the in-Nathan's-head-for-no-reason plot.
mini-Bilson
illusionist replacement for mini-bilson
Sark/Adam (for now)
Elle's dad
Niki/Jessica , though Ali lives on
Weevil with the sound powers
German magneto guy with 5 lines
Parkman's dad

non-villains:
Nuclear Ted
D.L.
Maya's brother
Sulu
Isaac
Peter/Isaac's girlfriend
African Isaac

(I guess we have Sylar to thank for most of these)

Written out of the show (for now)
Micah and cousin and Uhura
Maya
Claire's brain (really, she has to be the dumbest character in the show)

Most of these aren't major characters, sure, but they're not afraid to kill... it's just that the cast is STILL so large, and they "kill" people only to bring them back right away.

Best episode of the season. It's finally restored my faith. Sylar is a bad guy. Hiro is doing interesting things. And most of all no more Kristen Bell!!

Well, there goes Veronica Mars. Maybe her next show won't suck. (Most of the time, I'd hate people who write this way, but I'm just that connected with KB's best character even now. I hate to lose any KB screen time.)

That scene so played like the writers got the memo that people didn't like good Sylar so they're back to original formula Sylar. Yawn.

I hate to say what I really think of this show most of the time because it is so close to threadcrapping it ain't funny. At this point, I'm just really hoping the end of the season seriously improves on where we're at now. It's hard to muster the will to care most of the time.

Well I don't post any more in the Heroes threads because Im pretty much over all of the bitching about the show , but one thing I can agree with is the fact that Im sick of NBC's shitty way they present it thats for sure. No HD for the first half and it fucking cut off again . News flash NBC, people use DVRs now and that isnt changing.

Does the Haitian have a real name? They call him that to his face in a country full of Haitians.

First good episode in a very long time. Of course, the fucking thing cut off at the end. Still, I'm optimistic.

Poor Flint. Getting slapped around by Mohinder is as good as dying.

To Nathan flying that warlord into the truck. That was sic.

Seth and Breckin were lame, until Seth said: "Best. Day. Ever."

At least I didn't regret the 42+ minutes watching tonight's episode. I think there was actually one scene where Claire had her real hair (all the other scenes featured her in the wig yet again).

Buh-bye Elle.

So did HRG just sit back and watch Sylar and Elle have sex or what? At the end of last episode he had them in his sights and this episode they're laying on the floor before he takes any shots.

Exactly how long did this eclipse last? Or is Sylar a 2-pump Charlie?
