Can't wait. I just got caught up with this over the weekend and am very happy my friend recommended it to me. 8-9 Monday nights are now officially (for me at least) The Best Hour of Television Ever with Yvonne Strahovsky, Sarah Lancaster, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Kaley Cuoco and Cobie Smulders all bunched up together in that hour.

This is one of the few shows I make it a point to watch "live"

Am I the only one who was expecting the Awesomes to show up as the alternate team put on the case?
And has there been any hint prior to this that Papa Bartowski was a deadbeat?

The St. Louis affiliate pre-empted this for paid programming.

At the end of "Chuck Versus the Sizzling Shrimp" from last season, Chuck reveals to Sarah that Papa Bartowski was "never around". Hopefully, he really is just a lousy father and not a spy (overused spy genre cliche that's supposed to be "shocking").

Perhaps it's a small, trite world after all...
(This was not intended to be a derision on the show as a whole. I still love it. It simply needs to refrain from tapping that well.)

It was sort of nice to see "Dixon" from Alias as another master spy on Casey's sensei. We did get to see a little bit of Casey's background as well, even some begrudging gratitude on his part. Now, not all too invested in the wedding subplot, even if it's a way to bring their dad back into the picture. Now, the Napolean Dynamite clone working at Buy More, that was unexpected.

I wasn't sure on the plastic surgery. Figured she had a ton (of high quality work) to keep that look. But now I am not sure:

As for the in-story explanation of where she is, remember a few eps back Casey saw her in the cage match and made a note to recruit her? Maybe she's off at a secret training base?

I've been wondering this too. I think she was in the first couple of episdoes this season but I haven't seen her since. When all the Buy More employees were lined up in a scene during Monday's episode, she wasn't there. This happened last season as well. She did a few episodes and then disappeared.

I liked this episode especially Chuck making Casey find his "happy" center.

Another quality episode of Chuck, but overall something felt off. Maybe it was the focus on Casey, but I wasn't into it as much. Sure there were some great moments, but this was not one of the best episodes for me.
I was very pleased, and surprised, to see the Awsomes since we just had their Turkey day visit canned. I had not idea who they'd get to play the parts, but they fit very nicely.
Chuck making Casey find his "center" was good.
