When I compare and contrast Chuck and Heroes, I find myself enjoying Chuck so much more, just because the usual B-plot with Buy More shenanigans is just funny stuff, and the "She Spies" flavor of the Chuck A-plot is also filled with human emotional decision making, making the show accessible and funny but with warmth and heart because people talk to one another, human to human. Heroes just takes itself far too seriously, and the time crawls when watching it.

Tonight's episode juggled Chuck's heart (former flame showing up) and the CRP test at Buy More, while integrating both Ellie and Capt. Awesome as organically as possible. Pretty solid Chuck episode.

Morgan breaking into the house and getting busted by Awesome and Elli gave me a good chuckle.

Fricking awesome episode!! Chuck kissing Casey had me laughing my ass off!

Jordana Brewster looked really hot as a nerd. I just read that she's booked for 3 episodes (2 more after tonight)

Did anyone notice the scene where Sarah pretended to be the Australian scientist? She was actually speaking in her real accent since she's from Australia....even though it was really brief.

I think Chuck is on a roll creatively. This is probably some of the best television I've watched.

Truly Great episode! You really have to give the writers a lot of credit. They take a lot of chances and pull it off. The bedroom scene was hilarious although once I saw the clothes basket I knew what was coming ... and I still laughed. I don't think there was a weak spot in the episode.

MXC? It's the first thing my wife and I thought of when we heard it.

Love this show - the whole family looks forward to it every week - it's pretty much the only show we all watch together.

Curious to see how they keep Chuck's ex quiet about his ties with the CIA over the coming episode(s).

Oh - and Casey's pic on Chuck's phone and his disguise at the restaurant -

Nice to see Sarah get a wee bit jealous.

For a nerd, Chuck sure gets some nice ass.

Making Jeff swallow the pen cap so that Lester and Morgan could pass the test. That was awesome.

Poor, stupid Chuck. Obviously, he's not thinking with his head (At least not the one between his shoulders). Can't blame the guy, because:

1. He's suffering through a hell of a long dry spell
2. He's been forced to play Sarah's pretend boyfriend for over a year
with no "benefits"
3. Jill is hot

I have a feeling the Chuck/Jill thing is going to end badly. Personally, I'm hoping for a Sarah/Ellie/Jill three way
cat/pillow/tickle fight.

Sarah can still be a bad ass. Nice head shot to take out the bad guy.

Sarah: What do you think you're doing?
Chuck: Getting closure. She owes me an explanation.
Casey: No she doesn't. She exercised her First Amendment right to dump you.

If I was Chuck, I would hate Bryce more and more each day! First, he gets me thrown out of college (though there may have been an altruistic motive behind it) and then he steals my girl. I'm interested to see why he did the latter.

Four or five years later, he sticks the Intersect in my head and inadvertently has me fall in love with his former partner. No contest for me, though - Jordana Brewster all the way!

P.S. Does anyone not know Guy Lafleur is also a legendary Canadian hockey player?

Lafleur was a very talented right-winger who played (mostly) for the Montreal Canadiens hockey team in the 70s and 80s. He is still regarded as one of hockey's all-time best players.

[Edit] Oops -- I see Barings beat me to it.

Wow, Jordana Brewster looked especially hot last night, love women with glasses. Hope she sticks around for the long haul.

Great episode, I'm really liking the show this season (not that I didn't last season). And yes, Jordana was SMOKIN in this ep.

I, too, really enjoy the Buy More subplots. They've toned Morgan down a tad this season and played up some of the other characters more.

Still need more Awesome!

That's where I knew the name from. I forgot about MXC.

I said the same thing to my wife when she started talking.

Loved the episode. The only disappointment for me was that Julia Ling was completely absent. There would have been a lot of comedy potential in the CPR classes, what with Anna being the only hot, female Buy More employee.

I'll say it again - with Lost currently not on this is the best show on TV right now. Week in and week it out brings consistency - great acting, direction, jokes, references and music. I'd sit down and watch it back-to-back if I could.

As much I enjoyed the ex plot, the parts with Casey and the panty raid I felt a little let down. I certainly laughed at some parts, but I was practically laughing the entire time the previous episode. For me, Tom Sawyer was hard to follow up.

I wonder if she passed the NSA background check and is off somewhere training.

I took the liberty of fixing that for you .
