Reminder: Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart team up for a one hour live broadcast tonight, with an earlier than normal start-time: 10:00/9:00

This shows up on my DVR guide as two one-hour shows. Is the second hour just a repeat?

Hmmm, some good stuff but wasn't nearly as good as I was expecting it to be.

Good thing I was watching it live: it ran 6 minutes over.

Pretty weak IMO... I was expecting A LOT more from Jon and Stephen...

I love these guys and watch them all the time, but this special fell flat on its face.

They don't seem to do as well in a live, improv setting as they do in a pre-planned, rehearse setting. I remember the Late Night-Daily Show-Colbert Report rumble and Stewart, especially, was pretty weak without writers and rehearsing...

Agreed. I thought this would be SO much better. Oh well. Still fun to hear Obama's victory from Stewart. (Should I have spoilerized that? :P)

I just watched this on Hulu. It wasn't terrible for a live show where they were winging it a lot. The only reason to be disappointed was that it wasn't nearly as razor sharply witty and funny as the pre-recorded, scripted episodes. Overall I enjoyed it though.

It was worth it for Stewart's announcement of Obama's victory, if for nothing else.

I didn't watch it, but last night I did follow along with Patton Oswalt's "Indecision 2008" live blog, which is funny.
