John McCain to cameo in SNL this weekend (again)

This is like his third time this year not counting Palin.

Are you talking calendar year? I don't think he's been on this season at all . . .

He showed up twice last season. One in a personal address where he was "The candidate with the right oldness to lead" and talked about how jamming gaydar, pro-gay or anti-gay, he's not sure, was a state matter.

The other time was on WU after he won the nomination and urged Democrats to not hurry themselves in picking their candidate. "That John Edwards had some good ideas. You may want to kick the tires on him again, too."

I have to say that he's put in some pretty decent appearances. He also hosted once, but all I remember from that episode was that the White Stripes were musical guests.

Maybe he thinks this will help him get people to vote for him?

That's silly. He probably just doesn't have anything else going on right now.

He's probably trying to score points among the youth vote (which for him means anyone under 70).

I can't believe McCain and Palin would be on this sexist show that treated her with such disprespect.
