Great episode! I'm really liking the direction this show is going in. The 5 year jump has really kept the show interesting, and it's much better than I expected. I LOVED seeing the flashbacks, especially why Bree and Katherine ended up going into business together.
I really dislike Dave. It drives me crazy that he's so annoyingly nice, and has everyone fooled, with the exception of Mrs. McCluskey, who he's now trying to get rid of. I hope she comes back and uncovers his secret, without her life being sacrificed.

Stupid Susan flashback.
The smirk on Dave's face; Gaby ecstatic about having her period.
This hour draggged 3/4 of the way...until Mrs. McClusky's "demented, bat-wielding CrAZy old-cat-lady" moment.
I don't want to see McClusky in the loony bin/nursing home, nor written out of the show at all. Who the heck is Dave targeting?

For as insistant as he was to get Mike into the band, that's who I'm guessing.
As for Carlos' bionic sperm, I have that same problem I guess. My wife told me this weekend that she's pregnant (total shock to both of us), and I only got to work at it twice. She had just gotten her body back from our last kid too.

I suggest some "double bagging" to prevent future shock!

Carlos is going to need to get his sight back soon - that storyline is almost played out. Still not sure how a family of 4 with no income can afford to stay there.
And I know everyone here seems to take Tom Scavo's side against Lynnette, but I still think he's a douche. Last night "pout session" topic furthers my argument that it is all always about Tom.

My belief since day one is that Dave is the father of the wife and little girl that were killed by Susan and Mike in the season opener.

She should let him a little fun like having his car and joining his band, but totally wanting them to uproot their lives and their business to go live in a Winnebago is just crazy.
And do the Scavos have the worst luck ever? Lynnette shot, has cancer, Tom electrocuted, and didn't he have other problems before?

Trust me, if there was a DVD Lady Josh, things would not end well for either.

They really needed this episode to bridge the 5 year gap.
I think Dave has it in for Mike too. Does anyone remember who drove that night of the car accident? Wasn't Susan the driver?
They made it a little too easy for Mrs. McCluskey to go insane and be taken away in a stretcher. That kind of thing (gaslight plot device) deserves several episodes.

Last night's episode cemented that it was all Susan's fault that Mike isn't her husband anymore.
Liked Katherine's line about Orson not lasting 2 months working for Brie.
I bet it will come true.

I was thinking from the start that Dave was going after Mike for the accident, but that would be too easy. I am starting to wonder if he had something to do with Tom's psycho ex that died in the big storm, although it wouldn't make sense why he helped Mike get the house, especially since they could have gotten the other base player.

It was Mike. They were going to an anniversary dinner and were in his truck. Part of the problem thereafter was that Susan felt so guilty and responsible when she was only the passenger in the car while Mike the driver had come to terms with the accidental nature of the fatal crash (i.e. the missing stop sign at the intersection).
