Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Gets A Full Season

I thought with all the talk about this getting the axe, this news deserved it's own thread.

Fantastic. Glad to see FOX sticking with a show for once instead of giving it the boot

Holy shit!! That's fantastic news!! Thank You Kevin Reilly!!! I think he's my new favorite TV Executive. He stuck with Friday Night Lights even though the ratings sucked while he was at NBC and now he's sticking with this.

Variety also confirms the story. Prison Break has 22 episodes and now Terminator and 24 comes back with 24 episodes in January. Monday's are going to be fucking awesome until May!!!

Umm...wow.

This is the same network that canceled Firefly and Wonderfalls, right?

I think this show, along with most of the Fox and NBC Monday night shows will do a lot better once MNF wraps up. ABC and CBS are cleaning up with counter programming while FOX and NBC's action based lineups are getting creamed.

I'm not sure where FOX is going to put this once it returns from the winter hiatus.

Once January comes, Dollhouse will be taking the 8pm timeslot and 24 will be taking the 9pm timeslot until May.

Dollhouse is only 13 episodes, so either this or Prison Break can take that timeslot in the spring. Since FOX only has 2 hours of Primetime programming, there aren't alot of other options (if you want to avoid the Friday death slot) And American Idol will occupy 2 hours of timeslots per week.

Thank you new management. I love the premise behind this series and think it has the potential for some amazing stories. But I will admit that I think one of the reason's its been having a hard time finding viewers is because the series just hasn't taken off yet like they could. I hope with the extra time this season they can fly!

Too bad they weren't around when FIREFLY was on...

Move 'Til Death after Idol and put it on after Bones.

Fox really needs to start putting shows on at 10pm and either dump the news altogether or move it to the 11pm slot. Its not 1994 anymore, Fox! (Yes, I know Fox makes bank selling the 11pm slot to syndication).

Either that or let Fringe air non-stop until the 22 episodes run out (which would hopefully be March or early April) and then put Terminator after Idol on Tuesday.

Doubtful. Fox will want to get Fringe in on some of that May sweeps.

But still...its gotta be tough for them to juggle the schedule. It looks like them airing 2 episodes of 'Til Death now will mean they will be done with the show by January (unless they add more episodes), so they could shift things around a bit more.

That schedule will obviously have to change, but it doesn't leave alot of room for any major shuffling. The 2 days that are out for sure are Thursday and Sunday.

Why can't they move Hells Kitchen or that stupid reality show?

Thursday is a throw away timeslot for FOX because they can't compete with CSI, Grey's Anatomy etc.

Why dont they move AI to Thursday nights? Wouldnt that put a dent into both CSI and Grey's?
