Which cartoon series had decent closure to its final episode?

Out of all the cartoon shows from 1960s to present, which cartoon shows had a decent, satisfying conclusion in their final episode? I know many shows had some form of continuity, but sometimes seasons ended abrubtly or seasons were canceled. What were the shows with a satisfying, concluding episode?

All I can think of is:

JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED
TRANSFORMERS G1 (sort of concludes with the movie, eventhough series continues on)
G.I. JOE (sort of concludes with the movie, eventhough series continues on)
THE MYSTERIOUS CITIES OF GOLD
ULYSSES 31

What about He-man, Thundercats, Silverhawks, Speed Racer, etc?

The last FUTURAMA wrapped up a lot more than I would have expected for a cartoon.

I was always disappointed that Pirates of Dark Water didn't get a decent conclusion.

that is a good one. sucks that we had to wait years for it, but it felt so satisfying to see it towards the end of the run of JLU.

I don't know about final episodes. I do have a question.
What South Park episode is the one where they kill Kenny?

Justice League Unlimited, although I still wanted this show to continue.
ThundeCats Season 1 and 2
The X-men Adventures
Batman Beyond episode in JLU

By the way, I was watching the third season of Batman Beyond today and Bruce Timm was explaining that back in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, there wasn't a tradition of doing series finales for cartoon shows. He started doing that with Justice League.

ThundeCats Season 1 and 2
The X-men Adventures
Hey DX23,

Which episodes had the conclusions? For Thundercats was it episode 65 from Season 2? And for X-Men, what episode was it? Was it an episode before the show got all futuristic?

For Thundercats Season 1 it was actually episode 61. Somewhere I read that it was supposed to be the last episode of the first season run, but the network decided to run it earlier. The last part of the season was all leading up to this episode where Lion-O defeats Mum-Ra without the Omens sword.

In season 2, it was episode 130.

As for X-Men, I made a mistake. It wasn't X-Men adventures, it was X-Men Evolution. The last episode of the show is the end of the storyline and they showed a brief flash-forward of what was going to happen in the future of the X-Men.

I read the script that was going to be used for the finale. Or supposed to be, anyway.

Spoiler:
The group had a falling out and divided into two groups, the Ranger, Thief and Barbarian on one side and the Cavalier, Acrobat, and Magician on the other. They separate and go on their own adventures and finally meet back up for the final battle with Venger. He is defeated, and his curse is lifted so he becomes his original self, a noble prince. It's also revealed that he is the son of Dungeon Master.
The end has DM opening a portal back to the amusement park and telling the kids they are free to go.....OR they could stay and continue their adventures. It ends without revealing their decision.

Does anime even count? Most of those series have decent conclusions.

I think the OP meant American cartoons.

I second "Home Movies."

Not only did it end, it was very....introspective(?) of the main character.

yeah, any type of cartoon counts!

I wish M.A.S.K. had some type of closure eventhough it didn't have any continuity during the show...
