The script for the series finale is on the net. It would have been nice if the made it.

From my old Nickelodeon days.
The Mysterious Cities of Gold
Belle and Sebastian
Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea

Strange that they are all French.

I always wanted to see the Great Gazoo finally get to go home but he never did in "The Flintstones." Poor little Gazoo. He does, however, finally help (indirectly) Fred in the second last episode, so he's at least a happy little green guy the last time we see him.

Justice League/justice league unlimited ended well

I think the spectacular spiderman ended ok if I recall correctly. All the story lines were wrapped up.

Teen Titans had a justice league like ending.

Is Venture Bros actually done? I haven't read anything to that effect.

Another vote for Futurama and Cowboy Bebop as well (though counting anime series seems a little odd since they usually have a well thought-out story arc and a set number of episodes).

I wrote that in 2008 when I thought the show was over. The second half of the current season hasn't aired yet.

Another vote for Cowboy Bebop, Futurama, Home Movies, and Justice League.

I'd also suggest King Of The Hill as a strong contender. When you're on the air for 13 seasons I imagine it's pretty hard to come up with a satisfying ending, but I think King Of The Hill pulled it off. It was a fun episode with a touching ending. It was great to see Hank and Bobby bonding and the whole neighborhood coming together.

Moral Orel, while it ended way too soon, did a great job wrapping things up and giving us a satisfying ending.

Jackie Chan Adventures had a killer ending bringing in just about everyone from all the seasons for one last fight. I thought it was very well done!

I was going to ask the same thing about Venture Bros... but I just don't want that to end, so I'm biased.

Anime seems to me to be a separate beast (and this will include adaptations like Robotech). There are usually two basic types: the tv series that are based off of a long running manga; with a few exceptions, they usually don't wrap up well and/or have a lot of filler, mainly because the series ends before the manga is wrapped up, and they have to come up with their own ending. If you did a poll for worst non-endings, something like Berserk would be up there, I'm sure. Sometimes it works out ok, like Trigun, or if the anime lasts long enough to finish with the manga (or if the manga is short), like Basilisk.

The other type is the one that is an original story, and these are usually plotted out well and end with a decent conclusion (barring low ratings prematurely killing the series). This includes stuff like Star Blazers/Yamato and the different parts of Robotech, and the Mysterious Cities of Gold.

Most anime also tends to be serial instead of a bunch of standalone episodes, which makes a conclusion even more important (note that the conclusion is not always a good one)

While I wanted another season, the last episode of Transformers Animated was a good send-off. In fact, most if not all of the Transformers series from Beast Wars on have had decent conclusions.

I'll admit, I haven't watched it all, but didn't Avatar have a good ending?
