Everyone,

Please check out the following website. It's something I have been working on with some friends of mine.

I have been a DVDtalk member for a long time now, I frequent every day but hardly post.

Thanks for taking the time and I hope you enjoy it.

http://www.thetvsho.com

Sincerely,
Frankie Sooknanan

If you spent more than two minutes working on it, you're in the wrong business.

Honestly, I couldn't get through any of them. Had to bail on each one.

I hope you and your friends haven't quit your days jobs while you wait for the ad money to roll in.

I feel bad saying that because it seems like this is something you feel very strongly about, judging by the site. But you need to realize that what you and your friends make and find funny may not be anywhere near something that others will find funny as well. These never went beyond goofy home videos for me.

Honestly, those have to be the worst 'humor' videos I've seen on the web. Is that supposed to be the joke? That the videos are so deprived of humor that it's funny in an ironic way? Because otherwise... woo boy.

It's not a matter of waiting for the ad money to roll in. It's just that it costs money to put up the site and buy the conversion software. It's never about the money.

I thank you all for you honest opinions, I knew I would get that here.

LOL I'm not a forum watchdog. Just saying that other than the name of the site, he'd get better responses putting this in another forum like the Other forum. Besides, do we really want to start having threads about "check out my site" in the TV forum that don't have to do with TV shows? I really don't care, it's not my site. But as an avid reader/poster, I entered this thread expecting that it would be something related to TV in some way, as did most others here.

The responses here would seem like a tea party compared to how Other would rip into this stuff!

I vote for a mod to move it.

I agree this doesn't belong here. Since you are a long-standing member, this doesn't qualify as spam, but you also aren't supposed to self-promote here.

I am going to close this thread. Hopefully you got the feedback your were looking for...
