Well, after last week's uneven episode, this was a stellar return to form. Tons of laughs, wonderfully absurd investigation, and some great relationship stuff.

I'm still watching this one, but it's almost over. It was far better than last week, where the story was just way too lightweight to carry an hour.

When we were introduced to the "ringmaster" all I could think of was...

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/eD-7lKnYxNE&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/eD-7lKnYxNE&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Good episode. Still in love with Pushing Daisies!

I lost it when they started pulling all of the dead clowns out of the little clown car...

Emerson: "A truck load of mimes just pulled up, but they ain't talkin'."
Ned: "I think that human cannon ball was meant for us!"

Loads of great one liners tonight!

The exchange that killed me was

Spoiler:
(Paraphrasing from memory here)
Ned: We get around it. We have contraptions.
(Emerson freaks out about not wanting to hear it)
Ned: There's a mask!
Emerson: What did I just say?!

That's like the dirtiest joke they've ever done, I loved it

Much better story this week. Loved the clown car bit. My favorite line was Olive's mush mouthed "I just threw up in my mouth a little and not even know the difference." The scene with her and Lilly in the pews was great too.

I was kind of surprised when the VO said it had been a year and 20-something months since Chuck was brought back to life. It's kind of timeless, but if anything I would think less time has passed on the show than real life, not more.

Good episode. The exchanges with Cod are always hilarious and I'm enjoying the Olive in the convent stuff quite a bit.

Everything about Pigby makes me laugh.

Great episode. I enjoyed last week's, but this one was clearly a better episode.

My God, the ratings have been fucking awful. 5.55M viewers for this episode.

With ratings like this, the show is seriously in danger of not getting a full season (It only got a 13 episode order so far)

I loved this episodes but it made me a little sad. No way this is getting another season.

Maybe a "Wonderfalls" crossover will add another dozen viewers.

while i like the show, i don't see myself staying interested past another season unless they change the "solve a murder, murderer is someone they met earlier in the episode, small development in main characters" formula. it's basically an hour long scooby doo.

i really hope they change it up, it's probably the most original/unique show out there.

I was surprised it got a second season. I'm happy we've gotten what we have and will continue to love every episode until its inevitable cancellation.

Not that the complaint about formula is unwarranted, but in all fairness the murderer is so frequently "someone they met earlier in the episode" almost always because they met that someone investigating the murder in the first place. It sort of seems to follow...

I've given up hope that this will go past the ordered thirteen episodes. I only hope Fuller writes the thirteenth episode to serve as a series finale and provide some sense of closure

I've been watching Lost everday on G4. The Deus Ex Machina ep was on today. Anyway I thought Lilly looked familiar. She played Locke's mom. And for those that didn't know, Vivian was Audrey in Little Shop Of Horrors.

For anyone that didn't see the alternate ending to little shop of horrors I suggest you see it. Way better than the ending they went with.

Wow god damn, you people are talking cancellation already? I mean shit come on, lets just enjoy the show until we get an OFFICIAL word on a cancellation if and when it happens.

while i like the show, i don't see myself staying interested past another season unless they change the "solve a murder, murderer is someone they met earlier in the episode, small development in main characters" formula. it's basically an hour long scooby doo.
Every show on TV has a formula, and they wrap everything up nicely in the hour of TV the show is on. Thats TV. This show is no different, at least they do it in a more creative, interesting, imaginative way. If you are trying to escape formula, you better not watch anything on TV.

While I didn't particularly enjoy the first episode, I loved this one.
IMO I think Olive should be back at the Pie Hole, I don't like her at the nunnery. Loved the clown car scene.

Thought this was an okay episode, but that was definitely the highlight for me.
