That episode was hilariously clusterfucked. x100.

Amazingly, after the first half's classic moments had the YouTube brawl, Mr. Garrison chasing his dick, and "I-i-it was a spooky ghost, I swear!", I thought we wouldn't see a better episode.

Between Butters' unintentional RoboCop-esque cock-shots, the Deliverance and Accused parodies, Cartman and Butters acting Chinese, the Howard the Duck pinball machine, the Stormtrooper gang rape, Lucas's face turning red, Cartman's nightmare, and discovering the remains of Yoda and Short Round, this might be one on the same level as Scott Tenorman and Trapped in the Closet. Absolutely brilliant.

I concur. My goal in life may be to sit in on a creative meeting at South Park Studios, and listen to them come up with the ideas for episodes like this...or hell, any of them. I'd imagine the meeting starts with "okay, who haven't we offended in a while? Anyone see any movies this weekend?" and off it goes...

Brilliant!

...am I the only one that was surprised to see George Lucas and Steven Spielberg back from the dead after the episode "Free Hat"?

Continuity aside, this episode was awesome. The scenes with Indy getting raped by the duo was terribly funny. Cartman and Butters posing as Chinese people was too funny. The new season is off to a great start.

Instant classic episode - both storylines were great, plenty of Cartman along with Butters and of course, Indy-rape parodies. Awesome.

BTW, I instantly recognized The Accused and Deliverance, but was the first rape scene based on anything?

I think it's obvious that Trey & Matt are DVDtalkers: "George Lucas raped my childhood!"

Cartman + Butters almost always equals GOLD.

After by the time The Accused refence started, I'd wondered that myself but couldn't come up with anything. Maybe it was just to lay the ground work by starting with an Indy scene that never happened then onto recreations of rape from other classic movies?

I wondered about this as well. I think it was a ref to a movie, I just can't put my finger on it. I think it might have been the Kite Runner. Its kinda vague.

I've been following South Park since day one and this is easily one of Matt and Trey's BEST EPISODES EVER!!!

I think I pulled a muscle in my back I was laughing so hard last night.

Then today at work, I was laughing out loud just thinking about the episode. That NEVER happens...

Hey guys, I'm a long time reader of dvdtalk and it's forums. I finally decided to join up with you guys. I could totally be wrong on this one, but I believe the first rape scene (if it was in fact a parody) was from the Linda Blair film "Savage Streets". Then again, I haven't seen that movie in over fifteen years so it may be a stretch. Let me know what you guys think. Either way, amazing episode. I rewatched it this morning as I got ready for work.
