Star Wars: The Clone Wars -- CGI animated series -- Discussion Thread
I just saw a commercial on Cartoon Network advertising the new season of Clone Wars. I'm not sure of the exact date, but I'm pretty sure it said it premieres on March 21. I tried to confirm this on www.cartoonnetwork.com but I couldn't seem to find the Clone Wars site.

No way am I watching this...as it happens. I need to wait for the marathon as the ep by ep way of viewing feels like a gigantic tease. Drove me crazy! I can't wait to see these new eps though as these (coupled with the KOTOR games) are the best things coming out of the Star Wars universe. The quality of the eps just blew me away.

If anybody is in the area, the Egyptian Theater in L.A. will be premiering the whole 3rd season on March 19 with Genndy Tartakovsky.

Not sure what's going on here. But, Thursday and Friday's episode is listed as Chapter 24, so TiVo wasn't going to record Friday. Not sure if that's wrong, and Friday should be Chap. 25, or they're going to make us wait until Saturday to see Chap. 25.

What time will they air 21-25 on Saturday?

You notice anyone with a Superman: Red Son shirt? in any case, the Clone Wars screening was beyond great. Though I'm not sure how they will be cutting them down. I noticed some spots where it would be easy to cut away from. Though I really can't imagine seeing that piece by piece instead of altogether.

Here's a description of all the chapters
Chapter 21: The ARC Trooper cavalry arrives on Hypori and Anakin Skywalker faces his fate before the Jedi Council.
Chapter 22: Anakin and Obi-Wan serve in the Outer Rim sieges and General Grievous trains under Count Dooku
Chapter 23: Coruscant is under Seperatist attack and Anakin and Obi-Wan are given a quest on an alien world.
Chapter 24: General Grievous infiltrates the heart of the Republic while Anakin finds a shocking secret on Neivaan.
Chapter 25: General Grievous achives his sinister objective, and the action leads into the start of Episode III.
I agree with Jack, it's going to be hard watching this season in chapters after seeing it all together without chapter stops and such.

One thing that sticks out in my mind the most
I love how the events in Anakins past mirror Lukes so closely.
I'm a little worried though when Genddy said that The General from the clone wars series would be far different from the one in the film. That may be a little bit off. I mean I can't see how a jedi can really take him on one on one after all the events in the clone wars cartoons. But obi wan seems to be up to that task. So lets see if it leaves a sort of Fett style fan base from that.
