I just saw on the official site that they are going to re-air the entire season with "pop-up trivia boxes" starting May 1st.

Thanks for the notice. I should make sure it's still on my DVR. I probably deleted it when I kept recording reruns.

loved the premiere. I still haven't seen the Clone Wars movie though.

This bounty hunter story arc is really good.

My only complaint, the show needs less Asoka and more Mace Windu.

Wow, those were both great. Hopefully they'll realize that this is what makes for good television and we never see another C3PO/Jar Jar team up.

I never watched all of season 1. Any news on a blu-ray release? I've got the season 2 on my dvr and will check it out this weekend. Previews looked pretty good. I heard this season was supposed to be darker (which is good).

this.

although, the real problem is, with us knowing how everything ends up, it's tough to actually root for anyone except maybe Obi Wan and Yoda. It's the inherent flaw with this prequel bullshit.

It does make me sad knowing Jar Jar will never die but the show is still good. Besides the ending isn't as important as how they get there.

We know how things end up for the main characters. But there are many new characters in the show (especially in season 2). And we have no idea how things will turn out for them.

As for the first 2 episodes on Friday, they were damn good. Of course, I can never get enough of bounty hunters. But this show is really getting better with each new episode. And I almost didn't watch it after seeing the pilot episode in theaters.

With the exception of Rex and Asoka, all the major characters make it till to ROTS, so I'm guessing the series finale will see Rex and Asoka being sent far, far away. This show is taking a lot of chances for a show on Cartoon Network, but I can't see them killing two major protagonists.

I have the My Episodes widget on my iGoogle homepage and thought that was a little weird to have a new episode displayed for tonight.

Episode Widget? Going to have to check that out. Yeah doesn't this usually come on Friday. Maybe they are trying to kill the show.

Sorry, I guess it's technically a "gadget"

Here:
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?t...myepisodes.xml

It looks like this on your homepage:
http://www.gmodules.com/gadgets/prox...myepisodes.xml

You have to set up your shows on their site: http://www.myepisodes.com/frontpage.php

I just watched what my DVR said was a new episode (it was also recording some other CN programs this week, like Ed Edd and Eddy), Landing at Point Rain. This was pretty crazy-ass action, reminding me of the Clone Wars game from the early days of Xbox.

What happens to Rex and Asoka, and when is this cartoon supposed to be happening (between which movies)? My Star Wars timeline after the original three is a little fuzzy.

After Clone Wars and before revenge of the Sith. I dont know about Rex but as for Ahsoka.
Spoiler:
We can assume she shares the same fate as all Jedi save for Yoda and Obi wan. To be hunted down and killed. Supposedly a few others may have survived order 66 and gone into hiding but its unclear

The last episode was pretty good with the zombie troopers. I know there is a book that has zombie troopers. I wonder if they get zombied the same way as in the cartoon. The only question is where are the bounty hunters. Oh wait zombie bounty hunter maybe.

Oh why couldn't there have been more moments like that in the Prequels?

Re: Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 2 discussion

I'm enjoying the action quite a bit this season but I have to say I'm getting tired of the overt dialogue references to the films. Lines like Jar Jar Binks's "Steady! Steady!" said by Anakin and C-3PO's "No, shut them all down, hurry!" said by the admiral dude is just grating. On the other hand, I kinda dug when a clone trooper said, "We-Are-LEE-VEEENG!" just like Hudson said to Drake in Aliens. I remember MST3K doing a take off on this and I thought I was the only one who noticed the weird way Michael Biehn said that line. I guess it all cancels out.

This show is one of the few I've been watching that have consistently great episodes.

It also has one of the worst schedules ever, with three to four weeks between new episodes being commonplace.

The last few episodes were pretty good. I really want to see how the Godzilla cloning thing will turn out. Little Boba was pretty good. For some reason I thought the clones were born adults but now that I think about it they showed young clones at the clone center in the movie.

The new voice actress for Padme is horrible. She sounds like a 12 year old.

I wish Cartoon Network would get their shit together with DirecTV and designate these episodes properly... each season my season pass records one episode like 8 times even if I set it to record "First Run Only"

Nice to see a thread about this terrific show. I have said in the Blu-Ray forum that this show is what I was wanting to see from the PT. The characters have depth, it actually addresses some interesting issues, and most of all, Anakin is a hero and leader as opposed to a whiny bitch.

yeah, its certainly better than any of the prequel trilogy, but it does suffer from "we ultimately know how it all ends" prequelitis.
