In fact I thought it would be great if Drama's career really takes off and they're back to sponging off of him.

Much better episode than last week.
But yeah, I agree, a strange part about it is that nobody EVER gets pissed at Vince, except for E. It's like Drama and Turtle are scared of ever saying the slightest thing negative about him for fear of him kicking them out or something. Hell, the only comment that ever came close was when Drama and Turtle agreed that Vince should work out.
But then again, Vince doesn't really rib on his friends much himself.
Walsh continually kisses Vince's ass, even when Vince is defending E, or agreeing with E's views.
Every incidental character loves Vince, and when anyone ever gets really "pissed" at Vince, they get pissed at E and make him tell Vince.

Really liked that episode. It felt like the first "real" episode of the season. I loved that ending -- truly an "Oh shit!" moment.
If I have one complaint (and have had it for years), it's that Turtle is an extremely uninteresting character. He doesn't do anything and never evolves. His venture into music production went nowhere and his only relationship storyline was not even remembered after one episode. They need to give him something to do or let him go. Lloyd is a far more interesting supporting character with much less screen time.

I don't get why one expensive bomb kills Vince's career. Think about it -- He's like Leo DiCaprio who had the biggest movie of all time (Titanic) followed by an expensive vanity project that bombed (The Beach). It didn't kill his career and it shouldn't kill Vince's either.

Notice the long gap in DiCaprio's career following The Beach. Titanic made him into a Tigerbeat heart-throb, and The Beach failed because the adults who could've appreciated it didn't want to go, and the teenyboppers who loved Leo didn't get it. He wisely chose to take several years off and let the hype surrounding him die down before launching a carefully staged come-back.
How long has it been since Medellin bombed?

Good points. I'd forgotten about that gap. And I still think Leo is a much better anaology than Ben Afflick, who was drowning in overexposure and making way too many flicks before the nightmare that was Gigli.

I want to preface all of this by saying that I'm not a fan of DiCaprio... With that said your analogy is way off. By the time DiCaprio made Titanic he had close to a dozen film credits to his name, along with a one year run on a television show. PLUS he had one Academy Award nomination under his belt - having established himself as a very good actor. As per the conversation with Ari last week, maybe Vince is a good actor, maybe not.
