I liked it. I'm in until the inevitable episode where he meets a real psychic.

The creators of Psych should be suing someone over this...

Uh oh.. no post for the next EP of this show?
That's not a good sign as far as avoiding being canceled.. No rants, no raves, just no one cared, IE: Few bothered to watch

Well the 2nd ep was pretty good. Show is a little lighter heart'ed theme wise compared to some of the other crime investigative shows. but best of all, the show had a location screen tag that said "CB HQ Sacramento" lol

being a few years ago we had some random debate here that the next CSI should be some place boring, like CSI Stockton or CSI Middle-Nowhere Nebraska.. This is pretty close, at least for the setting of a crime investigation show.. I wonder if all the crimes will be Nor-cal based locations?

Newest ep was based in Napa Valley..

well at least Amanda Righetti looked great in a skin tight dress.. even if I now doubt all that many even saw the ep.

Uhhhh, hello? Did this not come up in a search?

The show got over 15M viewers week 2, so it's pretty much guaranteed a full season.

Procedural dramas like this are either hit or miss in this forum. Some people like to discuss shows like CSI, House and NCIS. However, I would say 90% of them get igonored.

Finally watched it and I enjoyed it. Yes, it is a Psych ripoff. But Psych is rarely on, short season, summer season, etc. so I welcome having this on.

I'm surprised to see the Psych comparisons. I guess I didn't know what that show was. All the ads show are a couple guys shouting random catchphrases that are (apparently) supposed to be funny.

Psych/Mentalist similarities:
Main character has keen sense of observation which could be confused for non-existent psychic powers.

Psych/Mentalist differences:
Everything else.

I like the show a lot. The casting is top notch and its fixated on the procedural as most of the other crime dramas.

The simalrities to Monk are also there. Searching for the killer of his wife (and child) while being a consultant to the police force. He also has a cold House like approach to his delivery and relationships.
