I agree with Firteen, it was a good episode, but not on par with something to open your season with. Jessie Spencer and Jennifer Morrison must be laughing all the way to the bank collecting their "series regular" paychecks for less than 5 minutes of screentime each. I think they should be moved to the "Also starring" part.

Anything happen after Wilson said "We're not friends anymore?" My DVR cut off.

He pretty much explained why he's done with House and it just cut to Wilson walking down the hall in the hospital with House staring.

Just wasn't feeling this episode. The new cast just hasn't done anything for me. I still like Forman but he has nothing to do.

good start, but a little slow with the case that they had to solve.

I thought this as well.

I'm hoping to see some actual change in House, otherwise it's pointless to show him caring about Wilson at all. I don't expect him to change how he interacts with patients or his crew, but his relationship with Wilson needs to be a bit different.

Love the writing on House, but the formula has to change or I dont know if I can watch anymore. Nothing keeps me wanting to tune in anymore. I especially dont like the new cast members. I dont know, the writing is still sharp, but the plots and the new actors just seem stale to me.

Exactly how I feel. I know the show is the same formula every week and I've been fine with that but it's just not working with the new cast.

I'm not really feeling the chemistry with the new cast yet, but they have done an adequate job.

I'm not an expert in the Medical profession, but aren't 13, Kutner and Taub House's interns? Isn't that how doctor's break into the profession and learn?

Aren't Chase, Cameron and Foreman technically full fledged physicians now? There is no way they can be brought back in their previous roles helping House.

The positions below House are fellowships. So the doctors are already full fledged doctors who have completed their internship/residency in their specialty and could probably practice that specialty unsupervised. Fellowships are additional training, usually in a sub-specialty. I think it's safe to say that House's fellowship program is unique, so who knows what the rules are.

My PVR cut off at the very last sentence as well. I'm recording House, M.D. and Fringe (I don't watch Fringe) next week so I don't miss the end of another episode again.

Weak episode, IMO. Didn't really care about the case, and the relationships of the new members aren't where they need to be yet to make me care about them.

Maybe they should have Kutner go for some White Castle.

Holy crap! I've been waiting for Wilson to leave for two seasons, when I first heard the rumor that Leonard wanted off of the show! I think he's gone for good. I just finished season 4 the morning before the season 5 premiere (I missed about 5 shows at the end of last season) and I was just floored that they killed her off! I don't like the new staff as well as I liked the ducklings, but there's no way they can come back and work with House. I was sort of hoping that after Chase accusing Cam of sleeping with House that they would break up (even though I rooted for them to get together in S3), but that apparently didn't happen (or if it did, they haven't mentioned it yet). I loved Wilson, but I'm glad he's gone. It was hard to stomach him getting crapped on every episode the way he did.

I hope he's not gone for good, but if he comes back, I want to see it happen on his terms, not House's. That speech/lecture he gave House at the end of the episode needs to have a lasting effect, or it will have been worthless.

I think he also said something to the effect of "And the sad thing is, we never were friends to begin with."

But I can't be too sure because my Tivo hiccuped right about there as well.

Looks like next week's episode (and perhaps all of them) run from 8:00 to 9:01 - my Time-Warner DVR has it scheduled that way.
