For those interested with dvrs and vcrs, make sure you pad it to end at 11:08, as thats what time my guide says it ends, and i don't know how other dvr systems have it programed.

MY GOD! I can hardly remember what was happening it has been so long ago. I'm betting the better part of 10 minutes is devoted to "Previously on The Shield".

Major plot threads:
-After facing threats of forced retirement all season, Vic walked out on his one chance at saving his job (an appeals hearing) in order to track down a lead regarding a Mexican gang attempting to essentially take over Farmington. What he found was a lackey of a land developer with gang ties (Cruz Pezuela) toting around a huge box of blackmail on all sorts of local officials. Vic (of course) roughed the guy up, showed the box of blackmail to Acaveda, and took off with it (actually the last scene in the season).
- After being found out as Lem's killer by Vic and Ronnie, Shane attempted to ensure his safety. He created a document detailing all the Strike Team's misdeeds, to ensure that Vic wouldn't hurt him or his family, and also started working with the Armenians for some extra cash. When his Armenian employer started to distance herself, Shane blabbed that "Vic and his guys" were behind the money train robbery. Of course, the Armenian boss was none too pleased about this, and sent a hitman over to Corrine's house. Predicting this, Shane had kidnapped Corrine and Cassidy, locking them in a storage container for their own safety. Of course, Vic wasn't exactly thrilled about that, and vowed that he'd "crush" Shane.
- Billings finally cashed in on his bump on the head from earlier in the season, announcing that he was too injured to work and would be suing the city for a large sum of money.
- Dutch and Danny finally kissed.

that "refresher" video is good, because it contains alot of the plot points i think will get tied up this season.

Just finished watching season 6 this morning before work. About an hour ago I told all the customers hanging around that, starting tonight, I'll be closing right on time (9pm) every Tuesday for the next 3 months.
Like everyone else, I'm psyched and saddened that this is finally the end.
