So is there a legal way to view this online? I can't tell from that mess of a CW website.

CNN's all a-buzz with the opening scene with the implied oral sex.

I finally got around to watching this last night - it was entertaining enough, and definitely on par with the original as far as clunky writing, stuff that makes no sense and adults-playing-teenagers.
However, my biggest pet peeve was the fact they were doing "Spring Awakening" as the high school musical. The only reason they picked it is because it's one of the "hippest" shows out there right now, but it's also about rape, abortion, abuse and underage sex. There is a song called, and I'm not kidding, "Totally Fucked".
I don't care how progressive you are, there is no way in hell a high school is putting on that show. Not to mention I'm pretty sure the rights aren't available to local productions yet
It's my theater nerd side, but it just reeked of the writers going "what's a show that's really hip right now?" and going from there.
It was surprisingly nice to see Donna and Brenda together again - they really acted like old friends. And I thought Jennie Garth not only looked fantastic, but easily slipped back into her role and brought a nice bit of continuity to the universe.

Decent launch/updating of 90210 for a new generation, though it is doing its darnedest to also incorporate the parental soapiness from "The O.C." I'll probably watch anything featuing Jessica Stroup, so it's on the to-be-recorded list, but the acting by the young cast needs to get better.

My thoughts, too, pretty much. Give it at least half season to see whether it truly gets off the ground, or not. Not every show is a home run on the first hit.

Jennie Garth did look amazing but i thought the inclusive of the 'oldies' seemed a bit forced and tacked on. Let's hope they have their own genuine storylines rather than just being peripheral nostalgia dressing

Was it just me, or did Jessica Walter play almost the exact same character as she did on Arrested Development, except not as over-the-top? Granted, I haven't seen her in many other roles, maybe that's just her thing. She was still the most enjoyable part of the show.
In fact, the adult actors are really carrying the show, at least at this point.
In the realm of "can't suspend my disbelief," besides the Lacrosse thing and the "improbable-things-happen-to-move-along-the-story" things (like the open door singing, the daughter being good enough to get a part in the musical, etc.):
The transition from the party to Santa Monica beach was a little startling. They got there in record time, but that one kid got there earlier than them, is already changed and surfing in pitch black? How the heck do these kids get around?
What was the wife doing back in Kansas? Her job seems very big-city based...
So let me get this straight: if one kid does the pig thing, he's off the team, but if two do it, they just can't play for one game?
I'm glad some "anonymous" text can ruin a relationship, just like that, with no confirmation at all. And that Silver's lame little skits can really mark someone like that... oh look, she's from Kansas, let's throw in some cows.

I believe Lori Loughlin's character is a photographer. I'm sure there is work for that profession even in a state like Kansas.

The chick who play Naomi is weird looking and has huge ears. She could probably play an extra on Star Trek. But she has the best body of the bunch. Too bad she can't act for shit.
This was better than the pilot.

I don't know if I'd consider this better than the pilot. All 3 hours of the show so far have sucked.
The one good thing that's come out of this 90210 revival is that the mediocre Gossip Girl suddenly looks like the greatest show of all-time in comparison.

No way was this better than the pilot. No Jessica Walter and no Shannen Doherty = no sale.
2 minutes of drunk/high Jackie Taylor-Silver does not make up for it, either.
No one...I repeat...no one cares about family bowling night. If they want this show to succeed, they'd better start focusing on what the people want. In order for this to stick around, they need a good 50-50 focus on old 90210-new 90210.

Thought it was much better then last week.
Lots of Silver which is a good thing since I think she's the hottest of the bunch. Naomi is the definition of a Two-face, hot with one look so far not with another.

I caught the repeat on the cw tonight, I liked it, I thought the bowling night was a funny idea. It was nice to see they brought back the actress who played Kelly's mom, but I don't remember her playing the drunk or having a coke problem.
