Re: 90210 -- "Clark Raving Mad" -- 03/30/10
I know there is very few fans of 90210 left here, but I literally spent the last 3-4 days getting caught up with the show. It's entertaining, but there is alot of groan worthy storylines right now. Anyone still watching?
I love AnnaLynne McCord as Naomi. I initially hated her, but she is so over the top funny that I have grown to really like the character now. However, this new storyline with Naomi faking a sexual harassment incident with the Blaze's new advisor in lame. So now Adrianna is bisexual and experimenting with Gia. It's obvious to me that this storyline isn't going to last and that eventually she will get back with Navid. To me there really isn't any chemistry between them. The scene where they kissed was really awkward. The Jasper storyline with Annie needs to die already. I get it he's fucked up and obsessed with her. Now Dixon is addicted to online gambling? LOL And I think I made it clear how much I hate Teddy. The whole thing with him being some kind of Playboy who can't seem to win Silver's trust is annoying. Liam is interesting and I like Ivy even though most of her dialogue is mostly surfer dude cliches. It was interesting last week when they introduced Kelly Lynch as her mother. I think the original 90210 did alot of these storylines much better, but it's still entertaining nevertheless. |
Re: 90210 -- "Clark Raving Mad" -- 03/30/10
I still really like this show. I'm not sure how you can hate anyone more then Annie though.
Jasper/Annie is a horrible storyline that needs to be over. Dixon's storyline is approaching Annie level bad. I like Navid and Adrianna together. I love Naomi but Liam is a bit of a bore. Silver/Teddy doesn't work. |
Re: 90210 -- "Clark Raving Mad" -- 03/30/10
Rumer Willis (Gia) is absolutely nauseating.

Seems like the original 90210 stars who were guest starring have run a mile
Show is going downhill |

Show is going downhill Melrose is much better than this now. Unfortunately, sounds like this will stay and Melrose will go. |
Re: 90210 -- "Clark Raving Mad" -- 03/30/10
90210 got renewed (while Life Unexpected gets better ratings...) and Melrose is likely canceled.
I too enjoy Melrose. |
Re: 90210 -- "Clark Raving Mad" -- 03/30/10
Melrose is a much more entertaining show, but I do think 90210 is slightly better than season 1. I think alot of the characters have improved (Naomi, Adrianna, Silver) But, there are alot of really bad storylines that have been done before and better.

Liam is now a pussy.
Teddy....just boring. Dixon, ugh. Navid is the only interesting guy character. |

Re: 90210 -- "Sweaty Palms and Weak Knees" -- 04/06/10
That broad that was faux with Dix, remind anyone else of Linda Cardellini?
In the good way. |
Re: 90210 -- "Sweaty Palms and Weak Knees" -- 04/06/10
Her mom reminds me a of much more stoned Aimee Mann.

Re: 90210 -- "Multiple Choices" -- 04/27/10
Judging how Liam's dad was acting last time, I think he escaped from jail instead of being released.
Anyone else think next season should have Naomi really get harrassed but noone believes her now due to her false accusations. |

Can't tv shows ever get poker right?

Michael Steger, who plays Navid, will appear on True Blood this summer...playing none other than a male prostitute. |
Re: 90210 -- "Javianna" -- 05/11/10
Thought it was good, last week was a little better. Think the second season has been better than the first despite ratings drops.
|
Re: 90210 -- "Javianna" -- 05/11/10
I really want to like Dixon and Ivy together but they really seem to lack chemistry.

Yeah, I know. I was going to point that out in my post. It's weird that they've put together an entire cast and they can't pair any of them together.
Even the adults don't. Parents - no. And neither did the Principal and Kelly Taylor. Then they paired the adult teacher with Jen - no chemistry there either. |
