IFC - When will they go HD?
I've been recording a lot of films of IFC onto the DVR lately, but I'm disappointed by the quality, particularly right now, watching Tarkovsky's Solaris.
Does IFC plan to roll out a HD version of the channel?

Will all of the useless HD channels that have been rolling out this year it's really unfortunate that IFC hasn't been one of them. As far as I know there are no recent plans but I would welcome other news.

I got an email back from them, and they are apparently rolling it out as the year progresses. I have DirecTV--I know they are launching a new satellite this year, so maybe when that's done?

Cablevision in Morris County sucks. They added 15 channels last Friday, but not the two everyone has been asking for. Is it nice to get FX, AMC (UGH!!!! A week after the Mad Men premier), The Weather Channel, IFC, Nickelodeon (which didn't make sense since all of there stuff is full frame)? Yes, but come on, the Olympics are coming up and Universal did want to broadcast on all networks, so why not give us what they want and what we want?
On a related note, I don't get BBC America, but does that air in HD? I have been asking for Cablevision to give me that one too.

Well, I don't have any of these channels, and I have pretty much all the channels my cable company offers.
I can't wait for Direct to finally start offering our locals in HD, and then hasta TWC.

When will Directv offer Sleuth in HD?
they have a lot of old programs so maybe it might not be worth the time
