It doesn't. It hasn't been picked up as a series yet, this was just a pilot. If it gets picked up, I wouldn't expect it until late in the year at the earliest and probably not until '09.

BTW, the sixth celebrity was Niecy Nash (or something like that). I'm sure I'm not the only one who's never heard of her(?).

I didn't know they even bothered to do pilots for game shows. I thought they just ordered limited runs to air at first and see if they hit.

Like anyone from the 70s ever heard of Scoey Mitchell or Patty Douche when they were on the original show. That's what's cool about game shows, they give z-list celebrities some exposure.

Brad Garrett was a semi-regular panelist when they brought the show back in the early 90s. When he made it on Raymond I thought of him as that guy from Match Game.

I knew I should have gone with the more famous Rosie O'Donnell, but Rosie O'Donald annoys the shit out of me, and is a terrible man, just like Jodie Foster.

I like Sarah Silverman. I love Norm McDoanald. And I love that thick black chick from Reno! 911. I would slobber all over that.

If they bring Alec Baldwin in as CNR, I'd probably watch.

Since I'm late to the thread, I'll make one summary post with the things I think:

1) Andy Dick should go nowhere near this show. The Andy Dick of ten years ago would have been great, but nobody wants to see him trying to lick the contestants.

2) Norm got screwed at SNL, but it became fodder for his monologue when they realized they screwed up and invited him to host. That may be the best monologue in show history.

3) I think the prevalence of gigantic glasses for women is a sure sign that it's time to do another version of the show. They just have to get the right celebrities and the right host.

Well, let's just say that somebody may have read Wendersfan's post and decided to let Silverman and McDonald off the hook.

Sarah Silverman would be great. I don't even know if her show is coming back. Anyone know?

Kathy Griffith should be on. I love her humor.

That would make me want to watch the show.
