Moonlight - Did it end up being any Good ?
I watched 2 episodes then cancelled the season pass. I love vampire stuff but found it boring
Did it get better ?
Still looking for more new stuff to watch

Not really. The first half of the season was very choppy as I believe the creative staff was in turmoil. It got a little better near the end of its run but I'm not crying about it not getting renewed.

I watched the entire run, and it never got any better than average. Not enough action (although that improved slightly late in the series), and the detective aspect was strictly routine. Only a hot lead actress in HD kept me coming back. I think the run is short enough to warrant your time, if there's nothing else on.

A few of us here on dvdtalk ended up liking the show. The show really grew on us and we were bummed that it got canceled.
It wasn't a perfect show, but it wasn't nearly as bad as some would have you believe.

I was never interested. Wasn't it just an "Angel" knockoff? I enjoyed my 5 seasons of that, and didn't feel the need to revisit it.

I actually really liked it. The 12 pre-strike episodes were a little choppy, but I was still entertained by them. I think the show suffered from a little identity crisis on whether it wanted to focus more on the Mick and Beth love story or the crime procedural element with Vampirism mixed into it. I always thought that O'Loughlin and Myles had good chemistry since episode 1.
The 4 post strike episodes were actually pretty good as well and I think the show was finding itself. I read that the creators of the show were fired because CBS wanted to make the show more like CSI instead of focusing on Mick and Beth. They brought in Eric Winter (from Brothers & Sisters) as a new character from the DA's Office, but I don't think he really added anything to the show. The one thing I didn't like about these last 4 episodes was that they dropped the Coraline (Mick's ex) storyline without any real closure.

Big thumbs up for me. I almost quit about 2 or 3 episodes into the season because I didn't like Alex O'Loughlin. But I'm glad I stuck with it because I really got to like the show and even Alex. I'm upset it was cancelled.

I'm still bitter about the cancellation...
But the Sci-Fi channel has picked up all 16 episodes and will be airing them in January (23rd, Friday). Hopefully there might be a slight chance of a TV Movie is ratings are good...but doubtful.

Eh. Once was enough for me. I personally didn't find that it ended in any sort of decent wrap up - at least compared to the more personally disturbing termination last season Journeyman.
