You know they just sort of dropped that storyline. Cliff was last scene in "Zero Worship" in the video store with Marc when he discovers that Wili's intended surrogate is a porn star. Does he ever show up or get mentioned again? Seems like Marc gets so sidetracked with the baby project that he forgot all about Cliff!

I don't really care much about either of them at this point, and I'm getting sick of their storylines. Things have become very lackluster and repetitive. I hope they figure out a way to liven things up next season and let some of the characters move in interesting and new directions.

It is a bit silly that in a show called "Ugly Betty" there is not one but 2 attractive guys fighting over the main character. It is nice that these guys appreciate Betty for her personality, but it seems pretty unrealistic the way she is being pursued by them in this show.

I think the audience would relate better to her character if she had problems finding a date. Watching her fight off ardent suitors makes the show a little over the top (and is probably depressing for all the attractive single gals out there.)

He was a victim of the writers' strike. No idea if he'll be back next season.

It's not like Marc's boyfriend is going to be playing Guitar Hero on Moonlight anymore.

Ah, but you forget about inner beauty. Amanda who is hot has no one. The girl gets banged a lot but otherwise.

I vote for the Betty-gone-off-alone angle, for what it's worth. And then no doubt the whole Henry/Gio thing will get stretched out even more next season.

A little disappointed in the Daniel-and-his-bastard storyline, as the sudden arrival of a child is typically a corny show-killer (what I like to call The Cousin Oliver Syndrome).

However, Amanda as a cheerleader

I guess I can tolerate the dumb stuff for awhile longer because this show really looks outstanding in HD.

I'm late, but this was a pretty unimpressive finale. Though there wasn't much Lohan, I would much rather see the time that will be wasted on her given to Hilda, Marc or Amanda. I'm loathing those future appearances.

I also commented on the Madonna thread about this episode featuring "Hard Candy" tracks (well, except "Jump"). Didn't mind that. I also thought this episode was pretty colorful. Almost TOO colorful. Close to oversaturating..

Oh, and I know it's good to have a bad guy, but is Wilhelmina going to "win" every freakin time?

Well, she got hers too. Her employees left her, her father wouldn't lend her money, and her daughter left her. She's on an upturn right now but she'll come crashing down.

The way they portrayed this kid though is more of a way for Daniel to grow up and the kid doesn't seem like precocious like most sitcom kids that are added to the cast as a stunt.

I am curious to know where Mark's Boyfriend went also?

I think Mark's bf is a case of too many storylines. TPTB wanted to cut down to focus back on Betty. Besides his bf made Mark too grounded and I think people would prefer he stay Willie's evil sidekick.

He was playing a recurring secondary character on Moonlight which has since been cancelled. Still you'd think they'd have at least written him off or explained his absence instead of him just vanishing...
