Is Alec really leaving the show? I know there was rumor with his phone tirade awhile back.

there is no show without Alec Baldwin, IMO.

The voicemail to his daughter? If they were going to get rid of him over that I think that would've happened already. By now it's long forgotten. There was talk about him wanting out of his contract at the end of last season. I don't know if anything has come of that, but I'd be surprised if it has and nobody here found out about it with all the Baldwin fans.

IIRC, the voicemail was the reason he wanted out of his contract. He wanted to retreat from the public eye for a while.

Great episode. "You'll all have chins" was gold.

I may have been having an auditory hallucination, but I swear that at the very end of the show the airport PA system announced that a flight was "now blurging". I listened to it several times.

A slightly off episode for me... it had a lot of great lines and laughs, but storywise none of it clicked for me.

I didn't much like this episode either. Then again, not a fan of the Cleveland dude (Sudekis).

Hmm, I think Fey and Sudeikis generally have pretty good chemistry together, IMO.

"Hill people milk"

I was in New York a few weeks ago and decided to take the NBC studio tour. We were guided through the tour by pages, just like Kenneth. Apparently Kenneth is a folk hero amongst them... which is odd because he doesn't exactly exude intelligence.

The check-in lady at AirFun or whatever was in Asscat3000 when we saw it, also in Baby Mama one of the guys in couples therapy was from it as well. that would be Jason Mantzoukas.

I quite liked the episode, and I like Sudeikis. Laughed at Jack telling the crew he was going to be on 12 if Liz came back, and then when he saw the response said he was kidding!

The PA system definitely said "now blurging" since I verified it against the closed captioning.

As much as I looove The Office, I have to say this is the probably the best situation comedy airing on broadcast television right now. Great pacing and the set-up and delivery of punchlines is amazing. It's amazing how quickly the show goes by and the quality of the joke-writing.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Jonathan singing "I Will Remember You" to Jack as he was leaving his office. One of my favorite scenes this season.

Its weird, I think the show is consistently funny, but I'm oddly a little over the shows "hectic run-around" episode plotting formula. I far prefer the ones that stray from that hook.

Watched this episode again, turned my brother-in-law onto the greatness that is 30 Rock.

Lots of great lines, but the phrase "Hill People Milk" will be a source of laughs for many years to come.
