WB channel lives again on the Internet

From the imdb.com:
The WB Lives Again -- On the Internet

Believing that it can attract a significant audience of young people on the Internet, Warner Bros. announced Monday that it plans to revive its defunct The WB "fifth network" online in August. (Beta testing is set to begin next month.) Although it said that initially it plans to offer reruns of such shows as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, Roswell, Gilmore Girls and Dawson's Creek on its own site and partner sites, it will eventually offer original programming created specifically for the Internet and has already recruited producers to develop content.

I really wish they would show Maybe It's Me on there. It will probably never come to DVD, but if I could watch it again online, I would.

I miss that show the most of all their show.s

Didn't they already announce this a few months ago? I was hoping this thread was to say it was now online.

Well I think this will succeed if only so I have a place to see a Smallville replay online if I miss them on the CW... right now you have no option.

Didn't the CW take down a lot of their replays to give people an incentive to watch the shows on TV? I know that I read a recent article about them doing that with Gossip Girl, since the internet fanbase was high but tv viewership didn't seem to reflect that.

The Smallville videos at Hulu are clips, not full episodes.
