Whaaaa?!?!? I didn't expect new episodes of this show for a lot longer! I hope my TiVo has been excercizing during the hiatus because it is going to be getting a workout tonight!

Happy dance!

Nice. For some reason I thought I'd need to wait until May.

So how many shows are there before the end of the season? Well, weeks. I might see this one tonight but I want to keep 3 hours open for the finale. I'll record them all then see them all in one sitting.

Including today's episode, 5 episodes left for the season with the finale being 2 hours.

<--- Does the Happy Dance because Wikipedia tells him who episode 80 is about and hopes for a flash forward.

I believe 8 episodes have already aired right? We're getting 14 episodes that includes a 2 hour season finale, so 5 more weeks left.

Remember that it's going to take May 22 off so Grey's can air a 2 hour finale. The season finale is broken up into 2 parts:

May 15: Part 1 (1 hour)---It will re-air on May 29th at 8pm if you want to make it a 3 hour season finale.
May 29: Part 2 ( 2 hours)

Don't forget that the re-broadcasts are "enhanced" episodes so that may not be a bad idea!

Looks like my going out on a limb feeling on who this one was about was right, it's

Spoiler:
BEN's flashforward

Rest of spoilers:

Spoiler:
Episode 4.09: The Shape of Things to Come (Ben-centric)
Airdate: April 24, 2008

* new 04/23 - In the April 24 episode, Ben leads the resistance against the freighter fiends working for cranky billionaire Charles Widmore, while in his flash-forward adventure, he does battle in the Tunisian desert and spies on a funeral in Iraq. Source: TV Guide
* new 04/23 - The invasion of the island commences. In the first 15 minutes 3 characters are killed (minor ones). Later in the episode some one is shot in the head execution style, but it's not who you think if you've seen any promos. This character is a major one. Source: Lost Spoilers
* new 04/23 - [Michael] Emerson [reveals] during a brief respite from shooting Lost's first episode since the writers' strike interrupted production last November[:] "I thought we would ease into things. Instead, I get this all-Ben extravaganza: combat, riding horses, foreign languages. And piano playing!" [...] [A] corpse [...] washes up on the sandy shores of Camp Jack and [a] raging gunfight [...] will decimate Camp Locke. [...] In addition to being a flash-forward adventure for globe-trotting Ben, in which his war with British billionaire Charles Widmore (Alan Dale) over control of the Island will intensify, episode 9 revisits a long-simmering subplot: Sayid's romance with Iraqi love Nadia (Andrea Gabriel). According to Lindelof, a new dimension of Smokey the monster's mercurial nature will also be revealed, per the Lost rule that "you learn something new about the monster whenever it appears." And Cuse says a major story line will begin for Claire, Aaron's Aussie mommy, who lost boyfriend Charlie in last year's finale: "Mysterious things are happening to Claire that set up the next few episodes - and the next few years, too." [...] During EW's stay on the set, Garcia prepared for an encounter with Smokey, and Holloway was spritzed with fake sweat and a touch of blood in advance of a raging gunfight. [Jin will be] fishing that mystery corpse from the surf. Source: Entertainment Weekly
* new 04/23 - There will be an "amazing death sequence". The smoke monster will also return in that episode (which may/may not be related to the death). Source: The Ausiello Report
* new 04/23 - Smokey and Jacob will be in the first episode back. The fate of Karl and Rousseau will be known the first episode back, and [Damon and Carlton] really want to tell Rousseau's story of how she got to the island. Source: Kristin on E!Online
* new 04/23 - I can reveal that the body that is washed ashore in Episode 4.09 is that of Doc Ray. His body itself is not that significant but what it implies does. Source: Lost Spoilers
* new 04/23 - Danielle and Karl's fate is decided in Episode 4.09 - They were shot with bullets. Source: Lost Spoilers
* 04/09 - [The big war] goes down in the first episode back (April 24) and Jack looks a little, er, messy by episode 10. Also, in the first ep back, there's a dead body. Source: Kristin on E!Online
* 04/09 - Guest starring are Ken Leung as Miles, Jeremy Davies as Daniel Faraday, Rebecca Mader as Charlotte, Sam Anderson as Bernard, Tania Raymonde as Alex, Alan Dale as Charles Widmore, Marc Vann as doctor, Kevin Durand as Keamy, Yetide Badaki as desk clerk, Kaveh Kardan as merchant, Faran Tahir as Ishmael Bakir and Sean Douglas Hoban as Doug. Source: ABC
* 04/03 - Claire is in significant danger in this season's Episode 9. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
* 03/29 - Locke's camp comes under attack, and Jack tries to discover the identity of a body that has washed ashore. Source: ABC
* 03/17 - Sayid is indeed in Episode 4.09. Sayid is one of the Pallbearers at his former love, Nadia's, funeral. According to other sources Ben was also seen "close by" and ties in with recent spoilers and photos posted here from Ryan in with Michael Emerson was spotted. Ishmael Bakir - Middle Eastern, 40s, should have a slight natural accent, a high-ranking businessman who carries himself with a sense of quiet menace. We get the impression that this distinguished man has the capacity for great violence. Desk Clerk - African, female, any age, French-speaking. Cold to some guests, but gracious to the wealthy. Doorman - 50s, British, white, distinguished. Uniformed doorman works for a luxury building. Bedouins - Two Arabic men, any age. Stunts required - Must be able to ride a horse. Source: Lost Spoilers
* 03/04 - Episode nine is gonna feature some richy-rich types who live in a doorman building-the show is now casting for a French-speaking African desk clerk and a "distinguished" doorman. Methinks we're going back to Tunisia... Source: Kristin on E!Online
* 02/29 - Julie Carlson, the extras casting director for "Lost," is looking for people of all ages who have a Middle Eastern or Arabic appearance to take part in the new episode that begins filming March 10. Source: Honolulu Advertiser
* 02/28 - Episode 409 features Bakir, a distinguished, 40ish, Middle Eastern man. While charming, there is an underlying menace. Also, a French speaking African woman. Source: secretagentman at TWoP

Damn! Why didn't someone say that it's not on until 10pm tonight.

I turned on ABC at 9pm and was thinking LOST was really sucking a lot, until I realized it was Grey's Anatomy that was on.

Erm no he isn't. The flash forwards have been common this season, it isn't time travel.

This episode sort of reeks of being rushed.
