The second Robin Sparkles video wasn't nearly as funny as the first one... maybe because there was only Barney bouncing jokes off of it instead of the whole cast? Van Der Beek was great here, though.

Am I the only one who found the video kinda confusing? Was it supposed to have been made before or after he dumped her? 'Cause it seems odd that she would have wanted him around to be in the video after he left her (and she made it sound in the bar like she hadn't seen him since the van), and it seems even less likely that she would have been surprised that he dumped her after she made a video predicting such an obvious outcome.

I thought that was how she met him; he was cast in the video.

The lyric "I'm on the pill now" had me rolling for some odd reason.

Yep, I remember thinking that back in that one episode where they hung out at the cigar bar. It made me sad to know that NPH probably didn't even enjoy himself as he was macking with Cobie Smulders.

That is what she said. Just because the song lyrics turn into how things really ended up between the two of them is coincidental. Come on now... "Let's Go to the Mall" was her first hit (making fun of Tiffany who's first junket was singing in shopping malls) and the follow-up would be a break-up ballad to show she had "range" and "depth".

Considering this wasn't a Canadian documentary, I'm pretty sure they were going for a laugh.

They kinda sounded like Marge Gunderson to me.

I fully watched both of the videos last night, and I actually liked the second one better. I mustn't have watched the complete first one before, because I didn't remember seeing a Brian Mulroney lookalike breaking it down, or the robot (which made the return appearance in Sandcastles in the Sand).
