The young and beautiful cast of next season's "Real World" will live the suite life in a $6 million, two-story penthouse perched high above downtown Brooklyn.

The art deco-era Belltel Lofts on Bridge St. was named Sunday as the site of the MTV reality show's 21st season after weeks of frantic speculation.

"We're excited," said David Bistricer, owner of the 27-story building that once held a telephone company but was converted to condos last year.

"It is what it is. It's the 'Real World.'"

The 6,000-square-foot, two-story penthouse includes two terraces, five bedrooms and 10-foot windows. A Jacuzzi and other amenities are also on the way, said Bistricer, whose building beat out 24 other Brooklyn digs for the starring role on the show.

He also said there are safeguards in place to make sure the reality show's stable of rowdies don't irritate the 100 families who call Belltel home in real life.

The show, which premiered in 1992, has been shot twice in Manhattan and in other large cities across the world, including London and Chicago.

Each season the seven members of the cast - some of whom have been as young as 18 - have become increasingly promiscuous and rambunctious.

"We've done a lot and the 'Real World' has done a lot to institute measures to make sure this doesn't bother the neighbors," Bistricer said.

A contract signed Friday prohibits taping in the gym and other common areas of the 90-year-old building. A spokeswoman for MTV did not return calls for comment.

The site will have the dubious distinction of being the smallest of the 20 previous "Real World" homes.

Since MTV announced the series would jump to Brooklyn from its current Hollywood set, blogs have speculated that the cast would be housed in Williamsburg.

But Bistricer said producers made the right choice. "Williamsburg is a story that is three years old," said Bistricer. "Downtown is a story in the making."

Sarah, at times, does come across as holier than thou and not a real person. I also don't like when she curls her hair. She looks better with straight hair as most women do. (my opinion)

I especially liked the racially charged "Who do you think you are, Charles Barkley?" line. You know, because Charles runs around with a camera taking pictures of drunk people.

I couldn't stand Janelle during the season that she was on and I really didn't want to see her this season, but what Will has done to her is wrong.

It's one thing to kiss another woman and then tell your girlfriend about it and then hope for forgiveness, but for Will to do what most men would do in his situation, go out and have a 'one nighter' to forget his pain and then not tell Janelle when they went out, well it makes her look like a fool because she believes he is only sorry for the 'little' kiss that he did.

But 'f'ing' a complete stranger because you're hurting and then not telling the person you supposedly care for is pretty pathetic and low in my book.

That being said, I cannot believe that next weeks episode is the last one. It seemed to go faster this year and I guess that's because the shows are a hour long now (which I like).

It was a pretty good season with lots of drama, etc.

Janelle must be the first cast member to get herself back into a show, its a little bizarre, as it is to see Ace and the others in the bar they all hang out in.

I agree wholeheartedly that Will is a colossal ass clown and a douche bag of the highest order. But this is like on the 1st page of the male handbook. Never, ever, ever admit to being unfaithful, EVAR.

I might feel sorry for Janelle but she's clearly a camera whore. Plus she treated Svetlana like crap during her season.

But dammmmmn if Will isn't a phony douche. He comes across as this genuine stand-up guy, yet the more you see of him the more you realize what a gigantic dbag he is.

I haven't seen this ep but I called Will on his phony bullshit early on.
